Rules for submitting a Suggestion

:star2: Guidelines for Submitting Suggestions

When submitting a suggestion, please follow these basic rules. They help ensure your idea is clearly understood and increase the chances of it being well-received and considered.

:white_check_mark: 1. Give Your Suggestion a Clear Title

Be as specific as possible to clearly convey your idea at a glance.

:white_check_mark: 2. Provide Detailed Information

Explain your idea thoroughly. Avoid vague statements like “I want this.” Instead, present your suggestion as if you’re pitching it to others—justify why it’s needed and how it would work.

:white_check_mark: 3. Add Visuals When Relevant

Images are highly encouraged. A clear picture helps others understand your idea better and improves presentation quality. For some types of suggestions, they may be necessary.

:white_check_mark: 4. Stay Constructive

Suggestions should be focused on improvements or additions. Avoid rants, complaints, or overly emotional language—these won’t be tolerated and punished according to the Forum Rules. The “Game Discussion” category is for general feedback.

:white_check_mark: 5. Include a Poll

Adding a poll makes it easy for others to show support and provides insight into how well your idea is received over time. Also, polls should always include both positive and negative voting options. Avoid creating biased polls that prevent fair feedback, for these will make it more challenging for the suggestion to be considered.

How to create a Poll

How to create a Poll]
Here is the code for a basic Yes/No poll:

[poll type=regular results=always chartType=bar]
# [TITLE]
* Yes
* No
[/poll]

This code is already included when you want to create a new Suggestion, all you need to do it copy this and change the TITLE to the name of your suggestion

:white_check_mark: 6. Avoid Duplicate Topics

If a suggestion already exists on the same topic, add your input there instead of starting a new thread. This keeps discussions focused and avoids clutter. You can search the forum for similar keywords to check if one was already made recently.

:white_check_mark: 7. One Idea per Thread

Do not combine unrelated suggestions in a single thread. It will make it difficult to understand the popularity of said suggestion. If only part of a mixed suggestion gets implemented, it complicates tracking and feedback. Keep each suggestion focused on a single idea.

:white_check_mark: 8. Add your Source

Always add the used source for your suggestion, if one is needed. It also lends your suggestion much more credibility in the eyes of those viewing it.

:no_entry: Please Avoid:

  1. Posting the Same Suggestion More Than Once:
    Suggestions go through a review process, so please be patient.

  2. “Bump” Posts and Comments:
    Don’t post just to bring a thread to the top. Comments should contribute meaningfully to the discussion.

  3. Copy-Pasting Full Pages from Other Sites:
    Basic data like specs are fine, but don’t copy entire pages from wikis or similar sources. That’s plagiarism and reflects poorly on your effort. Apply the suggestion to the game, and why it is relevant.

  4. Content Related to Extremist Organizations:
    Any suggestion linked to internationally recognized extremist groups is strictly forbidden.

:exclamation:Important:

Suggestions that don’t follow these guidelines will not be forwarded.
