Suggestion for subnation flag instead of main nation flag during battles

I think that it would be great for next smaller update to replace in battle flags with subnation battles that way it would be more accurate and give us a illusion of having more countries rather than just having voices and equipment from those countries. Example i play as a italy subnation(germany main nation) in ui during battles we should see italian flagg with a little german flag next to it so we could know and get feeling of a country we’re playing at that moment.

Do you mean that when you press Tab to check both‑side scores, the national flags should be shown just like in War Thunder?
For Tunisia, one side would display the USA and UK flags, while the opposing side shows Germany and Italy .
For the Far‑East theatre, it would show the flag of China together with the Soviet Union flag.

But right now, one possible approach is to arrange US and British tech‑trees in two separate research columns without splitting the Allied tech‑tree apart.
Do the same for Germany and Italy, and also add nations such as Hungary into them.
Even so, it feels quite difficult to implement
