The medical soldiers need to be strengthened, and they should not be treated differently from assault soldiers. This is discrimination

I particularly like the medical team, so I purchased the 40% off bundle for the German medical team.
I possess advanced medical teams from four countries. However, the number of personnel in the advanced medical team is too small. Why can’t the medical team carry an anti-tank soldier? This is unfair, not enough ammo and only four soldiers.
I believe that medical soldiers can learn from guerrilla soldiers and carry a large ammunition backpack as their primary weapon by default, and then equip a medical backpack. Compared to other advanced assault teams, the medical team lacks sufficient ammunition and additional anti-tank soldiers. I consider this to be unfair discrimination against players who prefer to use medical soldiers. I think this needs to change

Does it support the reinforcement of medical teams

The orita and ppsh 2 medic squads both need 1 extra medic soilder anyway, but I don’t think medics should have large ammo pouches because they should focus more on heeling so their AI should be improved to assist in this, instead of just being another assaulter squad.

For reference, you can read up on the rules for submitting a suggestion here:

I completely agree.
This is entirely a problem left over from the old era.
The new era should address these outdated issues.
For example, ensuring that the number of personnel is complete.
At least in terms of the game mechanics, make him appear on an equal footing with the other paying teams.

Make this a Romanian Squad

I don’t remember medical squads even having main weapons, let alone an AT rifle.

Most Corpsmen carried a pistol for personal protection, not for attacking the enemy as a fighting force.

And I’m pretty sure that Corpsmen didn’t carry ammo, unless their battalion was in a dire situation.

To call it discrimination is rather moot at this point. We should be thankful that our medic squads can act as a discount assault squad, because in real life, they weren’t.

Unless they were American medics and were fighting in the Pacific.

I mean then all they really get is a Carbine (medics still can’t use that in game)

Nah, nah, the Pacific US Medics used…I guess anything? So mostly Garands, but yeah, M1 Carbine too. Doubt they’d have used SMG’s. That applies even more to the German Medics, US and British Medics on the Western front, etc.

Edit: But this game is far from realistic and having those elements would make Medics even less useful.

I give mine STG 44s because they’re Grenadiers.

Medics should absolutely have more health. Not just because that means you can save more people while being shot at, but also so your AI will make it to the point and wouldn’t die halfway over to it.

A lot of those situations were dire, I know. More so in the Pacific than the Western Front.

It wasn’t unheard of for a corpsman to pick up a rifle or carry some ammo to the front, sure.

But for the most part, medical battalions weren’t kitted out for offensive operations. Because that wasn’t their objective. They were there to haul the wounded back to their lines.

Like I said, we should be thankful that medical squads in-game actually have a chance to be a cheap assault squad, because in the real world, that wouldn’t have happened.

But wanting a medical squad to have an engineer, or an AT rifleman, or working as some arbitrary ammo resupply simply goes against their job.

And yes, I know some premium medic squads have an engineer to bolster their ranks, but in reality, that was very much a rarity. And for game balance, I can see why some of the premium squads in-game have at least an engineer.

My point being, is that you never saw a dedicated AT trooper in a medical battalion. And as much as I’d like my female 150th Medical Battalion to have an AT soldier in it, I feel like it goes against the grain.

Just my opinion, of course.

As SdKz suggests, allowing Medic squads a carbine would actually be welcome, and it makes more sense than them having SMGs. Not that I’m complaining about them having SMGs… Those medic squads I own can hold off the enemy rather effectively. I just think they probably shouldn’t have AT rifles,.

Yeah, I’m more in favor of making the Medics themselves more useful, rather than to turn the Medic Squad into a psuedo Assaulter squad. That way you could take Medics with you with other squads, like Engineers which are much more useful squads-

Increase the number of personnel for the gold-payment medical teams in the Soviet Union and Germany to five. Make them balance out with the gold-payment medical teams from Japan and the United States. Is this something that can be considered?
This will not carry additional bullets or anti-tank weapons.

I’ll see what I can do . But seriously it should have Romanian voice lines.
