Due to being a brand new forum account, I wasn’t able to post the thread with a poll, and had to omit it unfortunately.
Jeeps and other vehicles with 4 wheels aren’t related to this topic; but if I was to throw something out there, for anyone passing by this thread to think about, maybe making jeeps like Kubelwagens, Willy’s, etc available as an addon to existing infantry squads would be a possible option?
I played Heroes and Generals for most of its existence, and in that game you played an individual soldier who could spawn in vehicles provided you unlocked them; motorcycles, trucks/APCs, and 4-wheeled jeeps. As well as some oddballs.
For Germany, I remember the Kubelwagen, 166 Schwimmwagen, Kettenkrad, and Opel Blitz. For the US it was the 1/4 Jeep, M29 Weasel, QMC 1/4 ton amphibious jeep, WLA, and CCKW truck. And for the Soviets it was the GAZ-67, T-20 artillery tractor, lend lease QMC 1/4 amphib, M72 bike, and GAZ AAA. The jeeps and trucks could be upgraded with supply crates for ammo, medkits, or panzerfausts, and the jeep could also take a mounted MG.
Anyway I don’t want to get off topic from the bikes. More content is always good, and would do a lot for those of us who are out of stuff to research, but I did mainly mean to talk about motorcycles, not jeeps

I hope we get TT Universal Carrier in the allied tech tree, it’s the best fit for the vehicle in terms of historical usage now that they got ammo boxes on them (APC usage is dumb), and the nation that actually produced them deserves to have them in greater numbers.
Let other nations keep their weird Event APC curiosities, as long as I get to see a UC in almost every battle on the Allied side I’ll be happy.

that’s what riders type II should be.
an improvement.
and as the biggest advocate for riders and bikes since day, riders 1 are fine with bikes, riders type 2 should allow more toys for what riders type 1 do, but slightly better.
being shock troops, and deliver ammo to the front.
especially for the same notion that you brought up.
for higher brs, a kettenkrad or other bikes aren’t gonna cut it.
but jeeps and other armored light vehicles, will.

I’m not trying to argue with the wording, sorry if it came off that way.
There could always be Rider 3s and Rider 4s, too, with APCs/IFVs at the top and better bikes at 2, and jeeps at 3 or something, I don’t know.

seems redundant and unnecessary.
they can always issue the bike as an event vehicle that can be used by the standard bike squad,
or as previously said, their own event squads ( like the apc event squads, or the soviet ptrs event bike )

The Kettenkrad does not fit the role as a mobile MG Nest like motorcycles so it fits into the APC family. I could see it as an event squad with only 2 soldiers and the third spot will carry one teammate and magically their whole squad as well
or maybe instead kettenkrad could be added to paratroopers, like it was originally intended.
And Universal Carrier could stop being a clown car and moved to rider category.

Id be happy for some of the motorcycle suggestions to be added as foldered options for BR I but yes after that we need jeeps and associated vehicles.

Im so pissed off with DarkFlow for limiting the M3 Halftrack and now the Universal Carrier to every nation except Allies WHO ACTUALLY BUILT AND USED THEM.
I have suggested probably 100 times now that DarkFlow consider the Australian or Canadian variant of the UC if they are so worried about the event ones being offended or something.
I will never understand the anti-Western Allies bias in this game.

I want all of these added, especially the civilian cars.
Previously I made a suggestion for more civilian vehicles to be added to maps to assist in general movement of troops. Especially ones appropriate to that specific map, such as Citroen Traction Avant and Renault truck in Normandy, CMP W15 truck in Tunisia, Nissan car in Pacific etc.
They just need to add Rider II UC with different weapon configurations, and they’ll be golden.
Like x2 Brens, or top mounted Vickers K + hull Bren.
Boys ATR is an awful gun anyway, happy to let that variant be forgotten as a clown car.
