When chatting with fellow players and enthusiasts about LVT, we mentioned LVT. After the bulky water tank was removed, two independent machine gunners were finally added (sometimes I wonder how the DF brain works; they didn’t enhance the recovery system until selling it, so they only did it then). It’s like an APC or an aircraft turret. At this point, I realized that DF already had code and capabilities to allow the vehicle gunner to fight alone - especially in tank battles where the gunner cannot handle both the gun and the machine gun at the same time. At that time, if the loader died, the communication soldier would definitely not help you but would instead deal with his broken machine gun by himself.
Now, the Japanese tanks are a typical example: once the commander is killed, the gunner has to aim and fire the gun while struggling to operate the machine gun. Although DF unlocked the machine gunner for BR1 tanks, it has never addressed this core issue. I decided to bring it up again to prevent the loading operator from completely “disappearing” when the game updates to BR3-5 and all tanks can fire their machine guns.

Yeah idfk why they dont. The japanese apc has 3 machine guns and the AI can fire all of them at different targets at the same time…literally what reason is there for a crew of 5 people to share the same brain.
That’s a great idea. It would be even better if the switch function could be added.
Otherwise, it would expose the position of the tank. If the tank is already exposed and the AI can attack the enemies that I can’t see, then that would be great.

If I understood correctly you were trying to create a topic in de Sugfestion category. This isnt possible, you have to select a subcategory of it. There you are able to create a topic.
Also when you create the topic in on of the Subcategories, the code for the Sugfestion is already in your draft.
