I know that chemical weapons were not used in World War II, but it could still be a fun gameplay feature if they were added to the game. It might create new tactical situations and change how players approach certain battles. Alongside that, adding usable gas masks for protection would make the feature more balanced and immersive, giving players a way to counter it strategically.
As you yourself said chemical weapons weren’t used in WW2 and as such should not be in the game. If Enlisted should ever expand to include WW1 permanently chemical weapons can be added but confined to the purely WW1 BRs.

Oh, during World War II, the use of chemical weapons on the European battlefield was almost non-existent.
However, there are still “chemical forces” in the military structure of various countries.
Most of the time, they actually use chemicals to produce smoke for cover, or add colors as signal flares.
