Do not add Chinese weapons to Soviet tech tree (continued)

Ok, I take back everything I said about not adding Chinese squad to the USSR.

We should have researched the unit history since the beginning lol

It’s not a secret unit, it’s known enough

  • remaining forces of the Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army, who were exiled to the Soviet Union

  • The brigade was never put into combat

You’re absolutely right. It wasn’t Chinese people who joined Germany.
It was China that spent money to purchase German equipment and instructors - highly qualified German instructors with pure German heritage.
To train Chinese soldiers. To fight for the Chinese leaders.
Those soldiers were not fighting for Germany.
It was Germany that provided services for China in exchange for money.

Perhaps you haven’t noticed
I have already mentioned many times before that China has the complete right to exist as an independent faction
But the developers have other ideas
So we can only take a step back and allow China to fight within other factions
In history, China has participated in battles for both the Soviet Union and the United States. This is a fact
But it has also had German weapons and has never fought for Germany
Of course, it could also insert teams equipped with German equipment into the United States or the Soviet Union
We have no objections

“By the end of August, the unit had liberated many villages in North East China.”

And they carried out several sabotage missions in Manchuria, That’s reason enough for me to add them to the game, Now I’ll leave you and Dekard to discuss it.

Most of the community agrees with this, including me, but unfortunately DF won’t do it.

I don’t see a problem with that.

Yes, that’s right. Just for these things, there will be countless people willing to pay for them.
It’s that simple.
But it cannot be Japan.
This will lead to a diplomatic incident…

Then we won’t have any conflicts anymore.
Good luck to you!

It is not difficult to prove that the Soviet Union and China fought side by side during World War II. In 1938, the Chinese Air Force and the Soviet Volunteer Air Corps coordinated to resist the Japanese aggressors over Wuhan and its surrounding airspace.

just replace the chinese rifle with an arisaka 38 either purchased from before or captured, the full sized arisaka and not the shitty carbine that the moscow premium has

They reportedly had over 35,000 arisakas in inventory so this is much more “plausible” than a chinese rifle

Excellent idea, I had almost forgotten about these! It’s the reason after all for the Fedorov being made to fire the 6.5 ammunition in the first place, because WW1 Russia did have the ammunition in stock due to owning Japanese rifles!

Please, make a suggestion to this effect!

They got even more, that’s just the redirected rifles intended for Mexico. They then bought 600k from Japan directly, then ca 130k got sent as aid by the UK.

They had nearing 800k rifles by the end.

I don’t play USSR so I really don’t care what they get as long as it’s made before 1946 and its balanced. You should ask @Veekay45 to make a suggestion to replace the chinese rifle with full length Arisaka 38s or inquire the helpers about it.

if anything, I would prefer the chinese 88 rifle to be available for Japan as a captured trophy

@Veekay45…? What do you say…?

One way or another Hanguang 88 is on a balance of our old arsenals museum

I would prefer no unrelated foreign rifle was added at all to any Tech Tree (!).

I would be ok with Type 88/Arisaka as a limited event “captured” weapon.

But if something just had to replace the Type 88 in tech tree, I would indeed prefer something that a Soviet soldier had even a slight chance of holding.

Even the Russian side of the forum is mostly against Chinese weapons randomly appearing in USSR tech tree:

Well, you didn’t even know a fact - most first part of WWII bolt action rifles was armed by Red Army - from a Lee-Enfild to Arisaka. All the docs and work of arheological sites aprove it

TsAMO, Fund: 249, Inventory: 1544, Case: 23, Page 98 of the document in the case

It tells Leningrad city defenders got 20 000 foreign rifles and 3 000 000 bullets for

And its 1941

Btw

Is this rule ain’t work?

Or I miss something?

There’s no need to look for logic in the developer’s actions. There are just two balls rolling around in their head, and when this balls collide, they do something destructive and super stupid.

Also, I think they accidentally mixed up the weapon files for the Chinese squad and the Soviet tech tree. And they’re trying to pretend it wasn’t a mistake and that it was all intended.
