At the end of the day, this is a good argument to bringing subfactions to the Allied, German and Soviet TTs. Essentiallythey are going to have to add Chinese squads, vehicles and weapons as it is the Manchuria campaign. Alliedneed a Commonwealth one, Germans need an Italian. Maybe they need to make it so each subfactions can only use their own weapons on their respective squads. After all China did fight, and the Commonwealth were in the war since day one unlike the USA.
If in the game there is no way to make China a faction,
then taking a step back and integrating into the Soviet, US, and German factions would also be possible.
Joining Japan is definitely not an option.
At that time, China had Soviet weapons, American weapons, German weapons [either purchased or provided as aid].
Even Japanese weapons [captured]. So it is absolutely impossible to join the Japanese faction.
In the other camps such as the Soviet, American, and German ones, the “gold coin team” and the “event team” are all acceptable. Of course, if we directly give it to the “gold coin team”, that would be even better.
In fact, the technology tree of this game is much shorter than expected. Just have a casual play for about one or two months. Then you can complete the technology tree for all four factions.
So, it’s not really a difficult matter.
Only after all the factions’ technology trees are completed is the game truly begun.
Isn’t it??
It was only at that time that they began to save money, form various military units for each faction, and upgrade the weapons of each unit of each faction.
Save money to upgrade the troops, purchase weapons and equipment, and upgrade the equipment.
At that time, the time spent was much, much more than the time spent on developing the technology tree.
Isn’t it??
I personally think that really integrating China into the game at all is very dubious, they do not have the equipment to stand as their own faction and they don’t really fit neatly into either Allied factions due to the whole issue with the European and African theatres.
However, if the devs had to add the Chinese somewhere it would make infinitely more sense to give them to the US/Western Allies. In WW2 the Chinese forces were heavily coordinating with the Western Allies, recieved a significant amount of military aid from them, and actually fought together in places like Burma and India. In contrast, during WW2 there was very little coordination and support between the Chinese forces and the Soviet Union.
Why Germany? If I remember correctly, Germany didn’t have any Chinese unit, I’d rather give squads of Chinese puppets to Japan.
During World War II, China was undoubtedly one of the main battlefields and the main force involved, with a large number of civilians, combatants, casualties, battle areas, and the number of fascist soldiers eliminated.
This is beyond doubt. It is indisputable. If you don’t know, please go and learn.
China wiped out and defeated most of the Japanese soldiers.
Japan mobilized approximately 7 million Japanese soldiers.
In the Chinese region, there were over 4 million Japanese soldiers.
All of Japan’s main forces were completely destroyed in China.
Japan additionally organized over 2 million puppet troops.
China organized soldiers to fight for 14 years.
The casualty figure was around 35 million.
Ultimately, they won the victory.
If you doubt China’s combat capabilities,
please look at the Korean battlefield that follows.
China is fully qualified to be one of the main camps in World War II.
Of course, if the developers do not have this intention, they can take a step back and participate as members of another camp.
The importance of Chinese theatre is not the issue, the issue is actually filling out the faction tech-tree. What can they get for a BR5 tank? What about their BR5 rifle? BR5 assaulter weapon? They just didn’t have the equipment which would make them viable as another faction.
History is just like this - truly amazing.
In China, there was a group of Chinese soldiers who had purchased a perfect and complete German-equipped army.
They were led by German instructors with pure-blooded training.
There were approximately 8 fully compliant German-style divisions. These units included the 3rd Division, the 6th Division, the 9th Division, the 14th Division, the 36th Division, the 87th Division, the 88th Division, and the Training Corps.
There were also 30 nominal German-equipped divisions that were not adequately equipped.
Originally, it was planned to form 60 perfect German-equipped divisions.
During the Shanghai Incident in 1937, China used 17 divisions, including the well-equipped ones, to fight against the Japanese forces, suffering heavy losses.
In 1938, Germany withdrew its advisors.
The reason was that Germany supported Japan. Japan invaded China in 1931
Japan’s assistance to Germany and the extensive diplomatic pressure exerted on Germany demanded that Germany sacrifice Chinese interests for Japan’s benefit.
I know all of that, in fact anyone with even a basic understanding of China in WWII knows it, but it doesn’t make sense to give Chinese squads to Germany that were never commanded by Germans and never shared the same battle or campaign
Same exact situation with the Soviet faction.
The Red Army didn’t have any Chinese units.
Adding Chinese soldiers to battles like Berlin or Stalingrad is exactly like adding Nigerians to defend Iwo Jima or Dunkirk.
USSR It’s somewhat understandable, the USSR sent many weapons to the Chinese communists but it’s rather strange that the USSR acquired a Chinese squad and another one in the future that leaked, since they never fought together. but Germany, WTF
Not really.
This is again the cold war narrative impact.
The Soviets gave some assistance to KMT (not communists) in 1930s, because they were the defacto ruling party of China, were fighting against Japan and shared some ideology with USSR.
After Germany invaded USSR and the Soviets signed neutrality pact with Japan in 1941, they never directly involved themselves in China affairs until August 1945.
I really don’t care if it is soviets, usa or japan who will get that gun as long as it is tied to a chinese unit like it should
Yes, I know there weren’t many, but weapons were sent to the Chinese communists, but it doesn’t matter, Df is going to add two Chinese squads to the USSR and there’s nothing we can do about it.
Again, its a lie. Do not spread a lie

Ok, I take back everything I said about not adding Chinese squad to the USSR.
We should have researched the unit history since the beginning lol
It’s not a secret unit, it’s known enough
remaining forces of the Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army, who were exiled to the Soviet Union
The brigade was never put into combat
You’re absolutely right. It wasn’t Chinese people who joined Germany.
It was China that spent money to purchase German equipment and instructors - highly qualified German instructors with pure German heritage.
To train Chinese soldiers. To fight for the Chinese leaders.
Those soldiers were not fighting for Germany.
It was Germany that provided services for China in exchange for money.
Perhaps you haven’t noticed
I have already mentioned many times before that China has the complete right to exist as an independent faction
But the developers have other ideas
So we can only take a step back and allow China to fight within other factions
In history, China has participated in battles for both the Soviet Union and the United States. This is a fact
But it has also had German weapons and has never fought for Germany
Of course, it could also insert teams equipped with German equipment into the United States or the Soviet Union
We have no objections
