After months of playing Enlisted, I come across these improvements.
Ngl I was initially surprised by the game, it felt real, but over time it became hollow and artificial, because you don’t see the full tank interior inside for example which I think would be cool to be in such game.
Some of these are way too dev intensive with too little pay off. I do like the mark suggestion tho.
There are not too many tanks like in WarThunder.
And if planes have interior, why wouldn’t tanks
Cuz planes have interiors in war thunder?
cuz planes have interiors in Enlisted
Yes. Tanks don’t have interiors. So why should enlisted spend that much resources on something that essentially isn’t new content as it has zero gameplay impact and instead is only an immersion feature. The current method is more than adequate
There are a lot still and on some of the rarer tanks/prototype tank I am not sure if complete pictures of the inside exist which would be needed to fully model the inside of a tank.
Also you would have to create like 50+ new insides plus add more dev time to all future additions for something that only a very small amout of the actual tank players will see and even less then also care about.
So unless you really want the next major pushed back by a year or so there is no point in doing that.
and they don’t have to do all tanks at once, atleast two initially
Then go play without weapon models and without explosion effects, and without plane interior and let us know how you like the game.
I don’t know who you even are, you act like you’re actual game dev which you’re not, so let them have the final word.
It’s not just visual effect, the interior can be interactable, and makes game more realistic and cinematic making you feel like you’re in the battle. I know it’s not easy task, but it’s definitely worth it and will attract new players, building the character of the game to the peak level. Why all the physics and realism?! This game CAN get better to be in it’s final shape.
Weapon models: needed for a fps, is an industry standard.
Tank interiors: rarity in combined arms games. The standard combined arms game uses a third person perspective.
Ur counter argument shows an inherent lack of understanding between quality of life and the bare minimum.
And it doesn’t have to be fully accurate interior, tanks like Tiger 2 are very complex. But can be done later in full detail.
And ur acting like ur a game dev not me. Im just telling you the resources required to model the interior of tanks. Enlisted barely gets enough content out as is so they would have to hire a new dev in order to get a demanding task like modeled interiors (with presumed animations) into the game with very little payoff.
Bro, you’re speaking like you know how they work and their team and internals.
If a hobbyst does it with a help of few people, why couldn’t they?
I don’t like how you underestimate the Gaijin developers…
Multiple people are able to make it work when they are passionate on it. Ur asking wage slaves on a confirmed understaffed team to do the same thing. Do you understand how your point about multiple people in a passion project being able to do it in a project that btw I’ve been following myself and has NOT been an easy process, may actually counteract ur original point?
Just because you’re affraid of hard work and challenges doesn’t mean that they also are.
you’re just one, and your pessimism is not at the right place
imagine crying about it when it’s not even your game
Well in the end assuming this even gets forwarded the devs are gonna say, sorry we have too much on our plate right now. Do you think the ppl who can’t even get hull mg done in one update and actually still mess up several of them with the inability to traverse can make detailed tank interiors with animations than you’re not optimistic ur naive
Hi your post is under suggestions and there’s a lot or way too deviating, unrelated topics. I will close this post since it goes against our suggestion rules, not only that you must also detail your reasoning why you want these features or content added. If I were to make a recommendation, separate your topics and give it more depth, dont clump your unrelated ideas into one.
