So far, Japan br2 doesn’t have rifle that can keep aiming between shots, here are some rifles that could be add to the tech tree.
Captured SMLE rifle
Even though it would be copy-paste, the one with flag could be an interesting skin for future event.
Winchester 1895(.40-72 Winchester)
According to a Japanese hunting catalog from 1899, Japan did have the Winchester 1895.
This one won’t be a copy-paste, because the damage would be lower than the soviet one, and can’t reload with stripper clips. The hit power might be similar to Murata type 22 rifle(25 to 26).
Colt Lightning pump action rifle(.45-85)with 8 or 10 round capacity
From the same catalog I just mentioned.
According to a forum I found, the .45-85 Colt Lighting is basically a 45-70( 11.6×53mmR) with a lighter bullet, which is larger than .351 Winchester(8.9x34mmSR).
The damage would be higher than Winchester 1907,which could be between 13 to 14, since it’s a manual action rifle, the hit power could be up to 23 to 25.
So it could be either a br3 (with semi auto rifle damage) or a br2 (with manual action rifle damage)weapon.
It’s rate of fire is very impressive(10 shot within 10 seconds)
Even though the reload speed is slow, but it’s capacity and good fire rate would be very useful for Japan br2.
