Are Clans Allowed to Farm BR I - II Newbies?

There is a suggestion in there.

Let me clarify;

“Can BR I gear players only be matched with BR I players?”

Obrez [BR II] or MGs like MG13 outclass bolt-action rifles by 20x or 30x. Of course you’ll now say how a good bolt-action rifle player can out-perform an MG. If that’s the case, why did they invent MGs, SMGs? It’s because they are superior.

They are players who do not have the ability to face people on an equal team… In any case, you only have to improve your shooter skills a little and in a short time you will surpass them, because they are terrible.

By the way, welcome to hell called enlisted

Hello Toilet Paper,

Thank you for the idea. I actually do ok in planes, and decided to learn flying after our team could do nothing in Tunisia against a tank.

Rock, paper, scissors right? So I tried to fight that tanker 2x but surprisingly he shot my plane down from his tank. He has 7 plane kills in that game. I’m not sure why he never ran out of tank ammo but he sat there the whole game.
Thanks for checking enlistedrollcall, and the suggestion.

Hello Bill_Streanger,

I was wondering that myself. I’m on Playstation and it doesn’t do a great job of explaining what the 'Group is Recruiting" toggle button does.
I tried both options (on/off) but I couldn’t tell which was doing what.

I am playing solo so I’ll try to disable “Group is Recruiting”.

In any case, how can you tell if someone is in your group? At best I’ve seen “1” “2” on the map, indicating squads, I suppose, but are they in my “team”? I know we’re on the same side, but how do you know if you’re in a team or “Group”?

Yes, the numbers beside player names indicate that you’re a “group” with them, and more likely to be matched against other groups, some of which will be actually organized groups communicating and coordinating with voice chat on discord or similar. Definitely uncheck that box.

Brother, it just takes some grind to get good. I have been doing this a year and took many slaughters, and still do some times. But , I learned how to dish it back out. Hang in there, you will get it. There are one or two premium assualter squads you could get at BRII that would help

Try to unlock and upgrade the enginers and radio operators squad, they can do a lot of damage with good tactics, the same could be with snipers and AT squad with BR1 AT rifles

Hey Bill,

You’re right! By turning off “Group is Recruiting”, I didn’t see any group numbers in my score. We had a clutch game, down to the last base defense and 2 mins. I jumped into a plane, killed 1 plane, and two tanks - we won.
Was my best game.
I hope your tip helps other players too!

The problem is that there is no matchmaking of any kind (as far as I can tell) other than finding people to meet +/-1 BR. It will even choose a server in a region you don’t have selected if it decides to (a non starter for me).

There are plenty of veteran players who get tired of constant HE spam at BR 3 and above. BR5 is often pretty dead (and, honestly, easier than BR3). So… sometimes we like to play BR2 or even 1 for a change of pace but people should try to play a reasonable way in that situation.

And, not that it helps… but it used to be worse. There were no BR’s in the past and you might join with a starter rifle and no explosive packs to face Federov Avtomat and T-34.

Hello gators66,

Thanks for the push!

I should mention that I also find the mortar squad (with 1 engineer for ammo) extremely satisfying. I don’t know that wiping out a few soldiers (about 5-15 per mission) makes a huge difference, but being able to knock out tanks helps a lot.

I wish they would add colour-blind support to the game (esp for mortars). I’m often facing a green sward of grass, and my allies markers are red. Red against a green grassy knoll is the pits, as it’s the most common colour-blindness deficiency known to Man.

What squads were you referring to? I don’t see the BR in the premium squads, just “more info”.

Yeah, basic colorblind accessibility for UI elements really should be added (if it’s not already there – I’ve never checked because I don’t need them).

Several statements to process:

  1. This game just don’t have a balance: you may easily face 10 players with e.g. full BR III gear, while you will be a solo player with BR II gear and 9 other players will actually be bots - in those cases i recommend just to chill and let this game end fast and/or - use engineers as they don’t need to have direct facing of enemies plus taking planes down gives +350 points (which is a lot) so if you play agains plane spammers - it’s golden shower for your pockets
  2. Defense in all game modes have higher requirements for the team, while in attack you just can farm solo from a far, without actually pushing(well recently they add classes for walking in your rear so be careful about them as well).
  3. The best farming potential is openning in BRII with tanks with 75mm guns, so you can stay there untill you will have a good BRV tank(without it you will always face +1 BR horror, when their tank can penetrate your armor without any issues, while you will need to learn small weak points and praying for luck for shot to be counted by a game engine).
  4. At some point you will understand that some nations have a superiority in some BRs (e.g. Japan is very strong with their 20mm AT “rifles” in BRI + their BRI event paratroopers have BRIII smgs in assault pack) and well, since game developers prefer do not fix major issues - you will abuse this superiority on you behalf, just to farm points faster and have less stress (this is why veterans are in low BR - because they have a full build to farm new players and nothing you can actually do with it).

The Japan Type 100 Para Squad is a premium TT squad. I wish i would have purchased that from the beginning. I use it in BR V matches.

If you buy any premiums, start with that. Maybe catch it on sale in Sept.

Not sure if your first language is English or not, but FYI “golden shower” means getting urinated on for pleasure . That could potentially lead to a proper “mess room” if you’re not careful.

Well, to make things clear, I’m talking about this type of shower

This is not the case.
The random groups will only play against other random groups, not against organized groups.
(it was explained this way by helpers)

Here is the fresh example:

What’s even the point then? And can you link to that post?

I’d love it if you could point to this or if a helper could reiterate it. I’ve only seen a few people mention it as you have but not any official word.

(also, I’m extremely skeptical that this is how it works… whether intentional or by mistake).
