The Silver chests have so much in them, including literal reskins, that the chance of getting anything you want on a pull is incredibly small. Allowing people to trade items they don’t want could also encourage people to participate in events that have main rewards they’re not all that interested in. A weapon I’m not going to use is a lot less enticing than the chance to get something I actually want for it on the market.
Not having chat, or any communication option in loby, in a multiplayer game, is not only lazy, it’s stupid.
Also I noticed that in match, there’s no squad chat. I’m pretty sure you used to be able to communicate with your squad only, but somehow I cannot find the key binding option anymore (if I recall well).
It would also make these events 2/3x as grindy and likely the price of the silver chest would increase as well
And you wouldn’t be able to trade any of your previous items, only new stuff
What about bug fixes and other improvements?
Taking an objective look at the game, the player trading system simply does not fit Enlisted’s environment well.
The slow pace of updates makes the game exhausting. Improvements that War Thunder rolls out weekly here take roughly a whole month to arrive.
Plenty of community votes have been cast in support of these changes. When can we expect meaningful optimizations
PVE mode.
I mean fully featured PVE mode where players can complete events and tasks, earn Silver, and allow them to use their own squads.
Players have been asking for this for five years, and since it relates directly to gameplay, I believe this is more important than social and economic systems.
On the other hand, it is also the easiest to implement.
We could introduce a zombie defense mode with moderate difficulty, similar to the first Halloween event.
Just like Assault Mode in War Thunder, players can earn loot box chances, silver currency and booster cards if they successfully hold off 15 or 20 enemy waves
This idea is great—giving both new and returning players a fresh start from the same starting line. However, I believe that if we implement trading, there’s no need to fully transplant War Thunder’s trading system. For example, we don’t have to make season passes, event passes, all rewards from new and old events, or special items obtained from crates into tradable content. Even in War Thunder, the probability of obtaining tradable items from crates is much lower than that of non-tradable ones. Most players primarily earn non-tradable items through scoring points rather than acquiring tradable goods. For instance, between 2021 and 2023, developers released multiple times data on major events, including total number of participants and how many players received rewards at different tiers. From this data, we can see that the number of players who received the ultimate grand prizes was less than 10% of the total participants (if I recall correctly, the proportion might even be lower).
Therefore, I agree and support this better idea.
Seeing this viewpoint makes me sad.
It leads me to understand that Cm, like the players, believes the developers responsible for Enlisted are unprofessional and lack sufficient capability.
And the future of Enlisted appears highly uncertain.
Only under such circumstances would developers and Cm resist making adaptive modifications when porting similar system modules.
It’s like someone trying to persuade a group of apes not to destroy their natural environment by using sticks and stones to continuously evolve their brains, or urging early humans to abandon fire out of fear of danger.
In my opinion, focusing only on the flaws of something while ignoring or dismissing its positive value is irresponsible.
Of course, I can understand why you think this way—after all, in your environment, nuclear facilities have been shut down for precisely these reasons, people are banned from installing and using air conditioning, and the use of natural gas is strictly restricted.
It’s not your fault.
You’ve simply chosen to embrace this new ideology.
PS: If this reasoning applies to the exchange, then why hasn’t the in-game friend messaging system been copied and pasted yet? Why hasn’t the issue of players being incorrectly marked as friends despite being on their blacklist been fixed? Why has the visual bug with the 75mm armor in KV1 still not been resolved? In Snowiew’s cabin, some bugs I reported remain unfixed to this day. Not to mention a certain avatar file in the client that keeps getting repeatedly revised across versions.
Yes, everyone knows about the non-disclosure agreements.
But what truly causes dissatisfaction or raises concerns isn’t the developers’ long-term lack of transparency regarding their progress.
Rather, it’s that after a significant amount of time has been spent, the community and developers are still stuck arguing over flaws in new content—so much so that no new folders have even been created.
Just do it, not nothing to do.
Or, like with War Thunder, there’s the same issue: large amounts of homogenized content are simply repainted, given different nationalities, or subjected to other minor changes, then repeatedly pushed out to players as major updates.
yes its right.
I want to remind you and the developers: the “Great Merge” version, which was like remaking the world, started in 2023 and ended in 2025 — it lasted two years, less than three. And the unfinished 2024 roadmap is already marching toward the third anniversary.
Players will remember the effort you and James put into wrapping up the “Merge” version after Keo left. But personally, I hope that you, who rose from among the players, will not gradually grow claws, fangs, and wings, turning from a hero into a dragon.
Excuse me, are you saying/meaning that before each update, the developers already know about every bug they created, or every bug that resurfaces in that update, yet they still release the update?
Personally, I believe this view is not based on facts. You are deifying/demonizing the developers — treating them as omniscient and omnipotent while placing all the blame and responsibility on them.
Good luck.
God bless us.
PS:
Furthermore, I want to remind other players:
the CM simply chose the “Exchange” suggestion from among a large number of suggestions and responded to it. This does not mean the developers have abandoned all other suggestions and only agreed with the “Exchange.” Therefore, I personally hope that players who dislike the “Exchange” will exercise restraint. The “Exchange” is likewise just one small step on the development roadmap. PvE, the social system, squadrons, the addition of other new content, and the optimization of various old content — all of these are steps on the development roadmap waiting for the developers to take. Players should not become divided and start attacking each other simply because the “Exchange” suggestion was mentioned in a response. Personally, I believe that all players love Enlisted, and we should be one united community. For every worthwhile suggestion, we should unite and support it.
Atp yeah…I mean AI are smart even tho they are dumb…at staying in one place and fuckin lagging behind…they are still fun to play with.
A player-to-player chat for messaging should have been implemented a long time ago.
