How long till Bike XP is fixed? Let's count

I had to play 2 matches just so I could post this

The XP bug has been “fixed” according to the recent update, yet as with many bugs, it hasn’t actually been patched.

I shouldn’t be surprised that after 6 months DarkFlow still cannot patch a simple bug, yet here we are.

Example 1:

The Japanese fighter pilot II squad requires 18k xp at level 9

The Japanese fighter pilot III squad requires 12k at level 30

So already, we can see that:

…is simply false.

Example 2:

USSR attacker pilot III squad requires 8k xp at level 6

USSR attacker pilot II squad (201st Bomber Aviation Regiment) requires 17k xp at level 8

USSR attacker pilot II squad (948th Assault Aviation Regiment) requires 8k xp at level 12

I’m sure there are more examples of squad xp not being fixed, but I do not care to spend more time hunting for them, if DarkForce will not spend the time to properly patch their own game.

Anti tank rifle squad 2 is still cursed.

And at this point we should just accept everything they say is nothing more than a placebo as we are slowly bleeding out.

So to all those who deal with this type of nonsense in the forum thank you developers because you truly care about us and I guess your transparency initiative really mattered as well.

Anything over 12k is just too much. And 20k is impossible to grind unless you always play with that squad. Calling it a fix is just a game of pretention like we won’t see how half assed was their update.

It is fixed, but you misunderstood how the change works:

The key word is the “fully” in the sentence … to fully unlock a squad, you’ll need the same amount of “total” experience as any other squad in the same location in the Research tree.
You assumed that the “per level” experience is the same, but that’s incorrect.
Each squad needs roughly the same amount of “total” experience based on their location in the Research tree.

So f.e. if a squad is in Tier 1 and in the 3rd column, it’ll need roughly the same amount of “total” exp as any other squad in that column.
Using this example, let’s check two totally different squads, a Rider and an Engineer squad in “Tier 1, Column 3”:

Yes, the “per level” exp is different, because they have different amount of levels, but the total exp to “fully” unlock them is roughly the same.
So a squad with only a few levels will need much more “per level” exp, while a squad with a lots of levels will need less “per level” exp … but the “total” will be roughly the same.

EDIT: I forgot to add this, but of course the “total” exp required increases as you move up the Tiers and Columns, tho as far as i know, there is a limit.
