Some other squads also require a lot of XP, I believe no squad should require more than 5000 XP for the first upgrade.

every squad needs to be “improved” about this issue, recently I decided to use fg42 for some of my german soldiers and wanted to “upgrade” but game wants me to grind 1 radio squad I have never played before, and each lvl wants like 10k+ exp, because of it I have to stick with unupgraded version. this absurd xp requirements are reason why I never bothered to play with many squads like flamethrower guys lol

18.7k XP for level 1 of AT soldier II really disappoints me as well
Getting an engineer into those squads even is such a pain

It’s not like Fighter III is that much better actually it may be 10x worse as i may only get few kills per life with those crappy planes.

I just finished grinding the radio 2 squad for allies and im half way done with the AT 2 squad lol
This is one of the main reason’s I never used or even tried to upgrade the rider classes. Way to much effort for a two or three man squad.
