Making Enlisted a Better Place №69

Each issue of our series focuses on a certain aspect of the game or a particular mechanic, in which we correct smaller, but noticeable bugs and add new interesting features.

I came here to shoot properly!

Recently you noticed that kills with the M7 and M8 grenade launchers were not counted as grenade kills, but now everything should be in order! A similar problem was observed with the Solothurn S18-100, now kills with it count as special weapon kills.

We increased the recoil control of the Fedorov MG to match that of the Fedorov Avtomat. Now it will be more comfortable to shoot with!

While aiming with the M1941 Johnson LMG, the eye position was too close to the rear sight compared to the Johnson M1941 rifle. We moved the camera back to make these two weapons similar.

The MP 28, MP 28 (extended magazine), MP 28 (7.65 mm) and the Beretta M38/42’s rate of fire has been increased to 550 rounds per minute. Now they are more deadly in close combat.

The FG 42 and FG 42 II, as well as their variants, have not been left unchanged either. Their base damage has been increased to 12.7. Additionally, the FG 42 and the FG 42 with grenade launcher’s rate of fire has been increased to 900 rounds per minute.

Five rockets is good, but six is even better! Now you carry one more rocket with the Panzerfaust 100.

The Golden Beretta M1934 is a pistol that you just want to admire, but due to a bug, the soldier holding it was standing in an unnatural pose in the hangar. We fixed it.

The M10 GMC can hardly be called a tracked firing point, but the loader clearly thought otherwise. Worry not, he won’t be able to fire his personal weapon inside the M10 GMC anymore.

Last year we made several improvements to the Rider class, but the changes didn’t end there. We just moved all motorcycles to BR I, plus they now unlock earlier than mortars! So the BR of these squads now only depend on the weapons they carry.

Shooting is an integral part of the game, but we haven’t forgotten about melee enthusiasts either. In this update, we have halved the cooldown of the melee charge, so you can now show the power of cold steel to your enemies more often!

Everything should be in its place

The experience required to fully unlock a squad now depends on where its weapon or vehicle is located in the research tree.

This also fixes the situation where some squads required more experience than others in the early tiers of the research tree.

The “Jet Power” update changed the BR of several vehicles and weapons. This led to a mismatch between their new BR and their price that we had to correct manually. From now on, this will automatically change, which will help avoid similar situations.

We have also made complaints against dishonest players clearer by changing the reason “Unsporting behaviour” to “Use of unauthorized software”. This way you will know exactly why you are reporting a player!

Do you have unused parachutes, radios or knives in your inventory and their presence bothers you? No problem! Now you can sell them for 5 Silver. A clean warehouse is worth it.

For players using a gamepad, we have added a small improvement - when you sell something, there will now be a shortcut for the “All available” button!

We also fixed a bug where both versions of the Tiger II (H)’s winter camouflage were highlighted in the Customization menu when one of them was selected.

New mission

This update also expands the list of missions in Burma. Commanders who prefer the US or Japanese armies can now meet in the “Myansera (Destruction)” mission.

Supply box changes

Last week we told you about the preliminary changes to the paratroopers’ supply boxes. Based on your feedback, we have adjusted their contents and are now ready to show you the final version!

Now the balance is set against America, but when will you give the Soviets a proper tank(T44 100 and IS1,2 100)? Also AVS and AVT with 20 rounds?

yep, thank Soviet mains for that, they complained that FG42´s fire rate is incorrect (some idiot said that its 600 rpm and without checking the stats on wiki, they all assumed its true and demanded that they fix it, turns out that FG42 early: 900 rpm, FG late: 750 rpm :kissing_closed_eyes: you reap what you sow )

some nice improvements, but also some significant mistakes:

  1. not having the sniper fg42 in the …paratrooper box is completely wrong
  2. same goes for japs, give them the scoped lmg for the sniper kit, the jap sniper rifle is BR ONE power level and it gets placed across all BRs. replace it on all BRs with the scoped lmg
  3. solothurn got mentioned but still no BR adjustment? put it to BR1 where it belongs, everyone with some sense has been saying that for the last month
  4. i didnt test the new FG42 handling, but with the higher fire rate it also should have significantly increased recoil control, otherwise its a nerf. the fire rate was already too high for proper control, if its even higher now it makes the weapon just worse.

finally the game is moving to the right direction!!! Thank you devs for the update. Now we just wait for more vehicles like APC, tanks or SPAA OR armored cars/recon cars for the rider class!!.

Type 99 curse, oh my stars. Will Japanese snipers or their rifles become viable at some point in the future?

its because FG42 and FG42 sniper use the same ammo pool, thus if you take both you will be stuck with the ammo of just one gun.

But for Soviet players, enlisted turned out to be an even worse place. Because the AVT40 only deals 15.3 damage at 660 fire rates, it only has a 15-round magazine. The FG422 crushed the AVT40 in an all-round way.

900 rpm (+10% fire rate increase from upgrades) is insane as it is.
I doubt they should make it even more meta by giving it less recoil.

Just move it into BR 5 like the Avtomat is if you want to copy it…
