since the Rzhev update,
we lost the ability to change camouflages while keeping the markings and insignas of vehicles.
for example;

or, for example, my beloved puma 18 from twitch drops:
for absolutely no reason.
examples are many, but the principle remains.
it would be kinda like gold order soldier not being able to change their uniforms after a random update without explanation ( which it’s not a thing you can do, nor should. outside… the new halloween ones. but that’s another story )
it feels like y’all be taking away our kids customization with each update.
so, run it back.
please.

P.s.
in the editor is still possible to change default camouflages while retaining the markings.
i don’t see why it shouldn’t be possible in the base game.
like, ffs people actually spent gold for it.
i don’t see any refunds. ( not that i’m demanding any. just the ability to use camos back on gold orders. like it was originally meant to be and available )

A good idea,the decision to do this was rather stupid

100% agree with that
and also changing camo, depends on the maps: snow camouflage for stalingrad, rzhev and moscow / desert camouflage for tunesia)

I made a post about this exact thing back when the update first made the change. (Gold Order Tank Camouflage Post 'Making Enlisted a Better Place №66') I still really miss when it would keep the insignia when you’d change camo of gold order vehicles. Not only that but it would keep some of the paint job too as a slight undertone of sorts that also really contributed to giving the Gold Order vehicles a unique look.
