In my opinion, polls are not a good thing. You don’t have to argue your opinion, you don’t even have to participate in any debate. People literally are not even bothered to give a like/upvotes to suggestions for which they voted yes in polls.
Suggestions definitely shouldn’t be implemented only based on outcomes of polls.

well, BR changes are something that should definitely reflect player opinions though.
Polls are still far better than just the like system which could not measure negative feedback, this makes forcing through controversial changes by clans much harder.
How exactly? 20+ people can easily totally change outcome of average poll on this forum.
these suggestions and their polls each have around 50 to 100 voters while before polls 30 likes were ground breaking. Bigger sample size → more accurate data on opinions.
You need more than 20 to push something controversial like 15cm SIG uptier now.
I wiould cut the mg out and weld turret in place to get better armor and shell values. That excuse is such a bullshit reason. It’s a cherry on top but has little to no importance when it comes down to it. I can easily play a full game without using a tank mg and can easily use the stugs effectively with no turret. The ONLY viable reason to downtier stugs is to remove all HE shells. Otherwise there is no reason to use a normal tank of a tank destroyer/stug. They should be implemented as tank hunters for this to make any sense.
La7 isn’t that great. Germany has comparable 109s and fiat. Ki-100 is better plane and is two tiers lower. Doesnt have big bombs, and is not a significant threat at all. Germany also has the 109z that will shread it to pieces
The fact it was controversial to begin with shows how strong the german bias is among players. It can 1 hit a super pershing and is2 frontally. No turret and mg doesn’t work here in the slightest for it being br2. Such a joke

I tried 15cm sig the first time I unlocked it than revert back to Panzer IV F1 because slower reload for bigger bomma with all the downsides is simply not worth it.

Stug is way more viable than alecto. There’s no argument there.

better tanks in similar roles: KV-2, M4A3 (105), Chi-Ha short gun… All BR3.
enclosed, machine gun, turret, KV-2 and M4A3 are well armoured too.

Agree with this, rather disappointing those were the only changes this update especially after the poll system was introduced. I think suggestions with 60+ percent approval could also be implemented, but as more of a trial change instead of a permanent one since the votes are a bit more divided, lasting the duration of one major update to test how the change affects balance. If there aren’t any problems, it stays, but if it’s too strong, it gets moved back. Here’s all of the ones with 60+ percent that you didn’t already list.
SIG 150mm to BR3 (61% approval)
Luftfaust to BR2 (69% approval)
MP 717r to BR4 (64% approval)
Tiger E to BR4 (62% approval)
Breda 88 to BR1 (73% approval)
And here’s two others with over 75% approval that weren’t included in your list
J2M3 to either BR3 or 4 (94% approval, 48% for BR4 and 36% for BR3)
Both Ki-61s to BR3 (89% approval)

Hm, I can imagine it being smart to focus on the Soviet vs Japs content before getting the hand dirty with those other balance changes - but you guys are right that most of them are very obviously good suggestions that dont take much effort to implement.

Even if there was 100 voted yes but developers say no - it will not be done.
