The luftfaust is basically a useless meme weapon. It’s not on the same level as the Panzerfaust 100 at BR4. At low BRs you could maybe use it to shoot down the slower flying aircrafts and have a reason to sacrifice all of your AT gunner’s anti-tank abilities
Luftfaust is a meme, that won’t change with any BR but it might just see a little more use on BR2 so good change IMO.
The worst thing about the luftfaust is that in order to use it, you have to swap out an actual anti-tank weapon, so its literally a handicap to anybody using it. Might as well put it in BR2 so you have better chances at blowing up planes with it
Might not be BR2 but I could see more use on BR3. It’d still be worse than a proper AT gun but might see more use when not up against Jets
Imo , it will be too op in low BR against light tank … so br3 should be better
with its 4mm of armour pen? nah you cant even pen the top armour of tanks so its only usable against low flying aircraft and maybe unarmoured APCs.
Doesn’t really justify it to be lowered in BR.

And against infantry, it could be terrible
Its the same BR, fights for the same weapon slot, on the same class.
I will compare the usefulness of them against each other and the Luftfaust more or less never pulls its weight, ever.
Since it wasn’t made to destroy tanks, it should be available to rifleman like the RMN-50.
Good point here, but at BR 3 it’d too easy to use for what it is, with how slow planes are.
Instead, it could be given the same class availability as rifle grenades, so Rifleman/AT gunner. At least you could use it in your average squads without handicapping yourself.
br3 with buffs or class swap
I mean, reclassifying it as an infantry launcher so riflemen/mortarmen/AT gunners can all use it would be a good start

I think the luftfaust can work for Germany
I’ve use it in 2 or 3 games before the merge . Personally I prefer real AT guns .
But in Youtube you can see some clip made by good players with this gun against infantry and planes
the solothurn AT rifle is BR1 and its arguably better at anti-air then the luftfaust is
You can prone and point it upwards at a bizarrely high angle, so…
really dont care where it goes. BR 1 semi auto AT rifles and AA guns are better anyhow
