Stug is way more viable than alecto. There’s no argument there.
And its does matter or else I’d say the sturm should be br4 with that kind of fire power
Brs should be set in accordance to enemy tank comparisons and not your own

GG.
lets compare 15cm sig than.
most comparable vehicle in game: Alecto (BR2)
better tanks in similar roles: KV-2, M4A3 (105), Chi-Ha short gun… All BR3.
enclosed, machine gun, turret, KV-2 and M4A3 are well armoured too.
Dregoz even made a post detailing all of his weaknesses so that he would stay in BR 2
And yet fail to kill a single tank from the USSR above BR 2.
Whats ridiculous about those suggestions exactly?
Agree with this, rather disappointing those were the only changes this update especially after the poll system was introduced. I think suggestions with 60+ percent approval could also be implemented, but as more of a trial change instead of a permanent one since the votes are a bit more divided, lasting the duration of one major update to test how the change affects balance. If there aren’t any problems, it stays, but if it’s too strong, it gets moved back. Here’s all of the ones with 60+ percent that you didn’t already list.
SIG 150mm to BR3 (61% approval)
Luftfaust to BR2 (69% approval)
MP 717r to BR4 (64% approval)
Tiger E to BR4 (62% approval)
Breda 88 to BR1 (73% approval)
And here’s two others with over 75% approval that weren’t included in your list
J2M3 to either BR3 or 4 (94% approval, 48% for BR4 and 36% for BR3)
Both Ki-61s to BR3 (89% approval)
I didnt include the first one because its confusing, while I accidently skipped/overlooked the second one. A honest mistake really.
Hm, I can imagine it being smart to focus on the Soviet vs Japs content before getting the hand dirty with those other balance changes - but you guys are right that most of them are very obviously good suggestions that dont take much effort to implement.
Developers already said to forum: VOTES AND LIKES DO NOTHING.
Even if there was 100 voted yes but developers say no - it will not be done.
Weird, since on average I have seen polls to have ±40 people participating. Definitely not 100. Unless its some official news poll.
Opinions that are usually not backed up by arguments. And very often they are not discussed at all.
Since polls introduction, I have somehow lost interest in forums. People tend to attach more importance to these polls than they actually deserve.
It’s not really about that suggestions with high positive polls ratio should be implemented. More like about suggestions with negative polls ratio not to be even forwarded to devs. That’s all.
Holy cope
Depends really.
For example the silenced ppsh which was NOT added to tech tree because people went ballistic over it being a fake gun.
But then depsite the wishes of 80% of the players ended up adding it anyway as a premium a few months later.
So its true that devs can do anything they want but player opinions obviously matter to them even if they only care as long as its convinient for them.
Don’t misrepresent what happened. That’s not the reason why majority of people didn’t want it to be in TT.
Quite the opposite. Plus it was promised the weapon will eventually return in some other form.
You have a point here, I remember us two for example having lots of “heated” discussions in the past, and in the end we often came to one solution that made actually sense.
Just voting often discourages unpopular opinions to be voiced I can imagine.
Don’t act like wasting time on pointless debates was a good thing.
Im very grateful for polls since I no longer have to fight brainless mains under any of my suggestions.
True, people in general are okay with prototype guns being event weapons - but not TT weapons.
This has always been like that.
Well, people especially had problem with only one specific faction to get silenced weapon in TT. And most people simply didn’t like the idea to have silenced weapon in TT at all.
It wasn’t even about the weapon being fake/prototype with vague sources.
Okay, here’s the thing tho - I very well remember that when I first brought up Soviet body armor being game breaking, more people gave the “just git good” comment in my post an upvote than my post.
After two years of discussing this issue people have changed their mind.
Hm true I guess
2 years ago people just started meeting body armour since it was unique to Berlin.
You could play a different campaign instead → does not concern you → you don’t care, sad reality really but thats how 90% of people work.
