The Tiger H1 is well balanced on BR4, and is a fun to play tank.
The Tiger E only has an extra machine gun mounted on top (which few people use anyways) and a slightly more protected cupola, but is otherwise the exact same tank as the BR4 tank and feels near identical when you use it. This makes it obsolete compared to other options for BR5 tanks, as it has both worse armor and a much less sufficient gun to combat BR5 tanks reliably. As a result, you rarely ever see these tanks used, which is a shame since it’s one of the most recognizable tanks of WW2. If the Tiger E is moved to BR4, it will act really as a slight upgrade to the H1 with another machine gun and slightly better protection, but no other upgrades. For these reasons, I suggest that the Tiger E is lowered to BR4.
like the tiger 2 h which is a straight upgrade with more turret and hull armor than both pershing tanks
including the super pershing which has a shield that covers half the front of the turret, a third of each side and none of the rear and has an anemic rate of fire
both pershings are at best equal to the tiger 2 p, the uber tiger 2 either needs to go to br6 or the pershings need to drop to br4 with the tiger 2 p
I think it’d be cooler if they gave it like track armor of something to cover the front, making it slightly my armored on top of the other improvements it has over the H1.
Possibly, but I don’t think an extra 20mms of effective armor would do all that much more to justify keeping it at BR5, where most cannons have 200+ millimeters of penetration anyways, and the gun is still quite a bit weaker than contemporaries.
They could also give it the alternate Pzgr. APCBC round that has slightly lower pen but enough explosive filler to overpressure tanks it pens. It would essentially make much more threatening to duel since it only needs one shot.
That along with all the other small improvements could make it BR5 worthy. But the best thing they could do is decompress the current BR5 and make a BR6 out of it.
On the Tiger E tank, you can stand in a diamond shape in relation to the enemy and thereby become invulnerable from his shells, and on the Tiger H tank there is a commander’s turret that makes the tank vulnerable in any projection while it is visible. Maybe, since this part is so vulnerable, we need to move Tiger H to 3BR?
Im conflicted for sure, because powercreep has completely ruined the Tiger E, but that “small” change of the cupola makes a major difference, making the Tiger E immune to most BR3 tanks, If we got a BR3.5 to slot inbetween the current BR3 and BR4, then I could see the Tiger E becoming BR4.
