1-For Ar for Japan, we have to compromise otherwise we can’t add anything to it the best 3 candidates are Type 2 with 6.5 mm ammo (SMG with bigger ammo than normal small 6.5 and smaller than 6.5 Arisaka people from the forum already made topics about it), Dutch M.15 Madsen gun(captured)(With shortened barrel and chambered in 6.5x53R dutch mannlicher ammo, it would be similar in performance and role to Fedorov AR soviets have.) and lastly STG-44 (Japan bought 6 I don’t see them being in the tech tree but as a gold order why not)

and the Soviets could get Kalashnikov light machine gun

3-For low-BR semi-auto for Soviets 1918 Tokarev mosin-nagant semi-auto conversion(there are carbine and full length version)

Type 4 with 90 mm ammo (120 mm pen )for BR 3

and for tier/BR 5
Type 97 with Ji-Te Dan

Its 20 cm granade that pens around 220 to 250 mm

5- High cap SMG for Axis there is VZ-38 SMG with 96 round drum but has slow rate of fire(500)

6- about rifle grenades on semis
The germans didn’t have anything like that at least from my research but they put grenades launchers on MKB 42s and STGs and also Mp43s

For soviets I couldn’t find anything on semi rifle but they put grenade launchers on AVS-36s

7- For scoped semi-rifle for Japan I don’t think they will need it as they could get Type 96 and 99 with scope

8- The scoped automatic rifle for Japan is gonna be type 96 and 99 with the scope and for Americans, I hope you like Thompsons cause we gonna get yet an other Thompson

The Type 90 75mm is far from ideal comparing to other nation. It is basically the same main gun for Chi Nu, Ho Ni I and III which need to aim for certain weak spot to pen a M4A2.

there are no good options for japanese AT guns. they can have type 90 field gun that is marginally better than current 47mm type 1. you can also add paper 57mm type 2 that was cancelled and idk what penetration values would be for it. then there is option of type 92 10cm gun that was made for long range support or you can add imaginary type 5 75mm tank gun (na-to gun) on AT chassis.

that is if we go with japanese options. they could always “import” stuff from germans, or use “captured” US equipment.

Well, we don’t actually need an AT chassis. Just strip the whole structure from the Na-To and we will have this.

I see I don’t know about it being added currently there are 2 Finish guns in game and you can get none by from tech tree I think its a far fetched idea but eh I wouldn’t mind getting free KP/31s
other than that there are a lot of high cap SMGs for Germans that DF could add like

Lettet Forsøgs

The Lettet Forsøgs was designed by Captain Carl Julius Valemar Berg of the Danish Army in around 1939. It was a modified version of the Finnish Suomi KP/-31 submachine gun, which was produced under license in Denmark, incorporating a number of experimental features. It was never seriously considered for adoption and was built as a prototype only.
( 20 or 36 rounds (Box magazine)/50 rounds (Casket magazine)/40 or 71 rounds (Drum magazine))(900RPM)

When the Tikkakoski company bought the rights to produce the kp/31 “Suomi” submachine gun in the 1930s, they attempted to make a bunch of export sales, although none were very successful. By the late 30s more countries were interested, but by that time Finnish military needs took precedence. While a few export sales were made during World War Two, the more significant exports were in the forms of licensed production. In particular, Sweden, Switzerland, and Denmark all bought the rights to manufacture Suomis.

In Denmark, this was the Model 1941, produced by both Madsen and Hovea with approval of the German occupying authorities. About 1400 were made between the 1941 and 1943 before the Germans lost confidence in Denmark and disarmed its military. The M1941 is mechanically identical to the standard Finnish kp31 except for
– Front sight protective wings
– Triangular front sling swivel
– Rear sling swivel (instead of a sling bar)
– Aggressive pistol-grip stock design(Ian did a video about this gun)

The gun was accepted to service of Sweden in 1937 there is the manual it seems to be again Sweden trying to copy KP-31 also because of the semi-rim cartirage the magazine is tilted(56 rounds in 4-stack “coffin” box magazine/900RPM)(9x20 mm Browning Long and select fire)

Lahti AL-43

The Lahti m/AL-43 was a prototype submachine gun of Finnish origin designed by Aimo Lahti in 1943. It was chambered in the 9x35mm Lahti and later 7.62x35mm Lahti round which were ballistically comparable to the performace of the StG 44

Schwarzlose submachine gun

The internal mechanism of this submachine gun was based on the MG 08 machine gun, but scaled down and re-chambered in 9×19mm Parabellum. Mounted on the left side of the receiver is a hatch-opened box designed to hold a row of eight 10-round clips, which would be fed into the receiver one-by-one. Each depleted clip would be ejected from a port on the right side of the receiver. The weapon has a fore grip and an adjustable tangent sight.

The pistol grip of the Schwarzlose submachine gun could mount a shovel attachment, which could double as a monopod.

CZ Vz. 38

First requirement for a new submachine gun were drawn up by the MNO (Czechoslovak Ministry of Defense) in 1937, for a weapon firing Czechoslovak-army standard issue 9mm Vz.22 pistol ammunition (which is better known as the 9×17 Browning Short or .380ACP). The approved design appeared late in 1938, officially adopted as “Kulometná pistole vzor 38” (Machine pistol model 38, or KP vz. 38 for short). Designed at the Ceska Zbrojovka Strakonice factory by František Myška, it was a more or less conventional blowback weapon that used 36-round box or 96-round drum magazines. The initial orders were for at least 3,500 of these guns to be delivered to the army, but very few were actually produced before the Nazi occupation. Since the Germans had no use for an SMG firing 9mm Kurz ammunition, its production was quickly terminated and never resumed again. After the war, design of the Vz.38 served as a starting point for slightly more successful CZ 247 submachine gun.

The Vz.38 submachine gun is a simple blowback operated weapon, firing from an open bolt and in full automatic mode only. It was fitted with slim and relatively short wooden stock with a semi-pistol grip. Feed is from detachable magazines, either double-stack, single feed box type or drum type.

ZK-403 (MP SS 42)

The SS wanted an alternative to the MP40 which gave problems at the eastern front.

But since running changes to the MP40 were already planned and the MP SS 42 would use the same magazines, a source of many issues, there was not a lot of need to replace the MP40.

The main requirements of the SS were:
9x19 cartridge use.
Single shot and auto fire modes.
A wooden stock to prevent the stock from freezing to the soldier’s face.
Improved safety feature for cocked and uncocked state.

During a meeting on the 28th of August, 1942, the SS was advised to rethink the idea and await the planned StG.(600 RPM / 30 and drum mag seems to be 64 not sure might be 96 as these were developed of VZ.38 smg which had 96 drum mag)

I’d prefer they pull a “reverso” and just make the MKB42(G) fill in for the role the FG42 is in currently and have the FG-42 become the “BAR”-equivalent for germany… this is a battle that I don’t expect to win though… the Breda 30 can arguably be called the “Axis BAR”, (though that’s a controversial thing to say)

I really think germany should get it’s ww1 “MG-15nA (Bergman)” as it’s “belt fed MG”… it would be fitting as the MG-13 was in many respects derived from the MG-15nA(Bergman)… also it would be two MG-15’s neither of which share any commonalities.

The allies need a lewis gun, as for the Vickers K… eh… I’m iffy about, I don’t care for the current implementation of it with the allied event paratroopers…

I prefer the idea of the Type 2c idea for a japanese assault rifle, but then again I think that’s jumping the gun and the Japanese need a tech tree Type Hei (10) or Type Ko
