Weapons and vehicles of the "Far Eastern Front" update

Japan got the “Japanese Tiger” even before the historical timeline for it arrived—this feels completely arbitrary.

And the Soviet faction—is it being sidelined simply because players don’t spend as much? Why can’t they receive substantial content updates too?

The logic behind equipment distribution is baffling:

· No one complains when basic, mediocre rifles are added,
· But as soon as the highly anticipated “suppressed PPSh” appears, its acquisition method sparks outrage.
· “Gold card” rare weapons slip into the tech tree unnoticed,
· Yet practical special equipment always faces intense scrutiny over how it’s obtained.

This double standard is absolutely unacceptable.
I’ll remember how this feels. If any other faction faces similar treatment in the future, today’s unfairness will come back around.

Right now, I’m just deeply disappointed and frustrated.

I kinda liked the all additions even so ferdinand was unnecesary, but tbh, KE7 is such a big joke. Please Change it with something else and put an end to this endless copy paste “captured” TT equipments…

Please allow this to be used from a pseudo aimed hip fire like the type 5 rocket launcher… its barrel is wrapped for this exact purpose

No ke7 was ever produced or used by Italy, at most Swiss Mp43/44s were used during the RSI

Hmmm. Enlisted devs trying to rewrite history? Sounds like something a Soviet would do…

Wait… They’re lying…? (Or, just wrong, of course).

Oh, I see. My apologies, so you mean the United States is the only one without Tier 3 pilots? By the way, as a developer, could you explain why the Soviet Union received so little content in this update? And why has the base tech tree PPSh been made a paid item?

most likely explanation is a lazy copy and paste because getting a SAFAT from WT would have taken more than 5 minutes of work

Bro, your comment seemed a bit too heated and got hidden. Maybe try reposting it to see if that helps.

Why is this statement so terrifyingly plausible. :weary:

Yeah, but Japan NEEDED a BR III MG. I don’t think the Axis are that desperate.

Formerly the Soviet line struggled against German BR 5, but now it can’t even handle German BR 4 either.
The only new additions are just firearms.

Japan has always needed buffs—that’s understandable—but the Soviet line also desperately needs strengthening!

Why is the development team pushing the Soviet faction into such a corner? We never get to enjoy the truly powerful toys. Victory for the Soviets shouldn’t rely solely on human wave tactics!

I’m convinced the developers are up to something sneaky here.
Considering the mechanics of previous “gold card” anti-tank rifles, there’s no way the BR 4 belt-fed machine gun, the 1919A4 with its 100-round belt, is handed out that easily. Such a generous gift at BR 4? A belt-fed machine gun just falling from the sky? No way—it’s definitely rigged somehow.

Think about it: the Bren with a 100-round drum is also BR 4, yet hardly anyone uses it. They must have poisoned its mechanics somehow. Even if the fire rate is lowered, it won’t be enough. American players better brace themselves mentally!

I’m not that old of a player, so I don’t know under what circumstances the KE7 was added for Japan, did their other BR III MGs come later…?

Why didn’t they add those first…?

Agreed, they have the MG 34 in the tech tree, and a FN BAR from the BP, what niche is not filled…?

Well, other than a Authentic Italian alternative of course, but that would have been better filled by something actually Italian.

In before they make the SEFAT a event or premium weapon… I can already imagine it…

Why is this this not a Japanese capture weapon…? It makes zero sense for the Soviets to gave this in their TT

Will the Soviets get a Chinese squad? I would love to give a Chinese squad this weapon.

ironically copy and pasting a FN M1930/WZ.28 or a Châtellerault M 24/29 would have been more historically accurate and would have worked well for both GER and ITA

How the fuck there is NEVER a SNIPER RIFLE ADDED to this god forsaken game? NOT A SINGLE ONE HAS BEEN ADDED, like …E V E R with ANY UPDATE. Only one slop smg after another…
This is so trash, bro, it’s unreal!

It makes complete sense for Germany to have access to European machine guns—it just adds more variety to the tech tree.

But the inclusion of the Hanyang rifle is utterly baffling. Is BR 1 really lacking in bolt-action rifles? With so many Mosin-Nagant variants already available, who actually needs the Hanyang?

This move by the developers feels specifically aimed at provoking Soviet players.

Yet, instead of addressing this, everyone is busy arguing over whether the KE7 is balanced or not. What is the forum even focusing on?

Will we see the KE7 in the Soviet TT? Since we’re giving them Chinese stuff?
