Weapons and vehicles of the "Far Eastern Front" update

We’re preparing for the next update and excited to show you the new additions coming to the research tree with it!

USSR

Винтовка тип 88 (БР I)

Type 88 rifle (BR I)

A Chinese bolt-action rifle based on the German Gewehr 1888, chambered for the 8×57mm M/88 cartridge. The magazine holds 5 rounds and can be loaded by using a 5-round en-bloc clip.

The main advantage of the rifle was that it was easy to manufacture and maintain, while still being very reliable.

Now the time has come for it to appear on the battlefields of the game!

Germany

KE7 (БР III)

KE7 (BR III)

The German research tree will be expanded with the beloved and well-known KE7 machine gun.
It was used by the Italians in the colonies, so now it will be available to the rest of the Axis powers, not just the Japanese, from which it will differ in its unique appearance.

Ferdinand (БР IV)

Ferdinand (BR IV)

A heavy tank destroyer based on the VK 45.01 (P) tank, featuring the new, longer, 88 mm PaK 43/2 cannon.
Its low speed is compensated by its excellent frontal armor, reaching up to 200 mm.
But how this vehicle will perform depends on your commanding skills!

USA

Browning M1919A4 (БР IV)

Browning M1919A4 (BR IV)

The most common variant of the Browning M1919 machine gun chambered for the .30-06 Springfield cartridge. This variant doesn’t need a tripod, but because of its bulkiness, it can only be fired from a prone position or by using its bipod. However, its high damage, easily controllable recoil and the 100-round belt compensates for it.

B-25J-30 (БР V)

B-25J-30 (BR V)

A late modification of the B-25 bomber, featuring six frontal and seven defensive 12.7 mm machine guns. Its impressive bomb load consists of six 500-lb AN-M64A1 bombs. If you have to reach the enemy lines, even if it means having to break through a swarm of enemy aircraft - this is your best choice!

Japan

Тип 2 (6.5 мм) (БР V)

Type 2 (6.5mm) (BR V)

An experimental Japanese assault rifle. It stands out from other similar weapons of this class for its high rate of fire. Will you be able to unleash the full potential of this weapon?

Chi-To Late (БР IV)

Chi-To Late (BR IV)

An improved version of the Chi-To with a larger ammunition capacity and better angled armor that gives it a chance to bounce enemy shells.

not what i was expecting, but sure.

we’ll take some of them i suppose.

can developers make at least the ability to fire in hip fire without aiming / ADS?

kinda like flamethrowers.
slower while firing & moving, not super accurate, but nevertheless still doable.

This was LAZY and unnecessary.

Everything else is alright.
I kinda expected something bigger for USSR like IS-100 or T-44-100 but Type 88 is still a welcome addition.

On the positive side every faction (except USSR) got 1 weapon and 1 vehicle, NGL I could easily get used to this!

I mean, yeah, it acts like how an MG would in real life, but still not balanced when you go against Axis and Japanese MG’s which all can be fired while standing or crouching.

I guess it’s best to make a seperate suggestion topic for it and see

Honestly ?

Except the Japanese assault rifle none of this is really interesting…

Chinese rifle is… well I don’t know

Ke-7 is unecessary copy pasta…

Ferdi will be busted at BR4, just sit in the back of the map and farm until a plane finaly decides otherwise.

The Browning somehow got the solothurn treatment. It should have been a 50 round belt at BR3.

B-25 is ok I guess.

Chi-To late is yet another random japanese BR4 tank equiped with the long 75 that no one uses anyway.

Agreed but at least it was used by Italy. It definitely won’t replace my Breda Mod. 30, but it’s there I guess.

Fake gun for Japanese assult rifle and where the T44/100?

Talking about Italian MGs…

where BREDA-SAFAT?

Nah, Allies need a good BR IV MG. Just one that doesn’t require you to be prone or mount the gun. Especially since half the time I’m still shooting the window frame when mounting it in a window.

New BR4 King Tiger oppression just dropped. Z Krauts must be happy

Would have prefereed 1 more thing for soviets for better balance, but all things considered everyone gets something nice.
