Tha Japanese already have their own Federov in TT. Only wiht bayonet, bipods, 30 round mag and it can be go with 3*9 meta. It calls Type Hei Automatic rifle.
With damage of at least 10 to 11 points and a 30-round magazine, it would be ideal for BR5 (while maintaining the controllability of the Type 2 and having a good fire rate), but as it currently stands, it’s not much better than the Kiraly 39M, which is BR4 and has a 40-round magazine.
Depends on damage and handeling. Its just that 20 rounds is rather low making it the weakest assault rifle. I don’t know if high ROF will really compensate for that (might make the weapon even worse since you run out of ammo in a sec).
Its not silly at all. if anything its way more realistic than a TT Ofenrohr. Im not asking for it to be TT still.
Its old enough and appeared on enough battles for Japanese to be at least aware of it, and also uses their native ammunition.
It is said that Japanese captured some during the Battle of Lake Hasan
It’s matched to StG and AS levels of power and it’s 9.4 damage 30 round AR. Problem with this solution is that it’s never going to get use when Type Hei is essentially a direct upgrade. 13.9 damage, 30 rounds, similar ROF, better dispersion, still very low recoil
Keep it at 20 rounds but match its power level to Fedorov Avtomat. This way it would be somehow viable as an option to take at a high tier. My proposition would be: 13.9 damage (with AR damage dropoff), 20 rounds, 0.21 dispersion
Well, Japan really have a couple of Federov as a trophy from 1930-s Soviets-Japan conflict. There even the Japan scheme of trophy Federov after their research.
But still, why Japan needs Federov then they have Type Hei automatic rifle which is better.
And honestly, i am annoying of how many copypaste Japan have. Give Japan Japanese weapon, please.
The recoil of the new Type 2 is simply terrible! It’s circular and almost impossible to control! It’s worse than the Thompson .30! Like all Type 2s, it fires from a closed bolt in terms of animation.
If it’s level 5, equipping a 30-round magazine would be a great choice. It could compete with the American M2 carbine.
Facing the Soviet Union, it would be on par.
