Type 2 (6.5mm) Magazine & BR

Realism over gameplay has to be one of the worst arguments in enlisted istg

One question, the rate of fire is correct?
I just wanted to know if the devs invented this too

Why should I care about amazing gameplay if the game turns from WW2 to complete Wolfenstein?

I guess Halo or CoD Future Warfare might have great gameplay too, but I’m not interested to play them at all.

Gee whiz. Maybe cuz it’s a game. It’s literally in the name. How you play the game. Fun should always be top priority. You can create fun by realism but that has to be part of the games identity. Enlisted is not a realistic game. It’s an arcade shooter with realistic elements.

The rate of fire of 810 rounds per minute is the rate of fire according to a British report on the tank version of the Nambu Submachine Gun Model 2 Otsu in 8 mm caliber (which is currently at 3 BR).

However, they decided to give the 8 mm caliber submachine guns a rate of fire of 750 rounds per minute (which is close to the truth anyway), and give the 6.5 caliber version a rate of fire of 810 rounds per minute, but we have no evidence of the rate of fire for that model; it was abandoned quite quickly :disappointed_relieved:.

But, considering that the weapon has a simple blowback action, the rate of fire could have been quite high, especially considering the rate of fire of the 8 mm caliber submachine guns.

Yep, and Fun for me is not fighting against or alongside BS which never saw the light of day in WW2.

Not sure if you actually came to this game in December 2024, but I’m sure you know that was the original Enlisted vision, right?

I’ve been in this game for awhile and consistently it’s been fun over realism. That should’ve been made very clear to you with the merge. If you don’t like unrealistic weapons don’t use them.

Ok thanks

You should take into account that fun is subjective for everyone.
For instance, to me fun is realism.

Obviously I don’t.
But I can’t avoid having them shoved down my throat by enemies and allies.

That’s why my vote will always be No whenever another fake weapon/vehicle is suggested, simple as that.

you should take into account that you are not the prime audience. You’re not in a position to ask for discrimination. At best you can ask for consideration. Of course when theres not holes in the factions gear or what not the community will be more or less on your side. But at the end of the day, fun > realism

It needs to get buffed not downtiered. Br 3 japan doesn’t need more assault weapons. This is probably the only domestic Japanese assault rifle design and it should not be wasted

It’s a suggestion thread with open voting and one of the options being “something else”.
And that’s my opinion.

Don’t see from where you got the strawman argument that I consider myself prime anything.

Fun = realism.

Unrealism = unfun.

100% agree with increasing the ammo capacity, found this while making a similar post lol.

Veekay why do you even care? You won’t play high BR Japan because of all the other weapons right?

Never.

Every new fake gun added brings us closer to abyss.

Some people blindly trust the devs/forum posts and might actually believe Hori, Silenced PPSh, T-44 and Su 9 1946 are real combat used WW2 equipment.

Since this poll asked what to do with this I expressed my opinion within the “something else” option.

It can have a 30 round magazine, but then it will be the strongest AR of BR5, which AS44 cannot compete with.

nothing is going to beat the fedorov because of its damage, and a good player can manage the recoil of it

I literally posted a technical report on the weapon and the muzzle end of the assault rifle…

Tha Japanese already have their own Federov in TT. Only wiht bayonet, bipods, 30 round mag and it can be go with 3*9 meta. It calls Type Hei Automatic rifle.

With damage of at least 10 to 11 points and a 30-round magazine, it would be ideal for BR5 (while maintaining the controllability of the Type 2 and having a good fire rate), but as it currently stands, it’s not much better than the Kiraly 39M, which is BR4 and has a 40-round magazine.
