This is a version of the MP 41(r) that was converted off of the later version of the PPSh-41, which had a flip sight instead of a tangent sight, as well as a textolite of fiber recoil buffer instead of a leather one. This latter change increased the cyclic rate of the PPSh-41 by ~100 RPM (900 to 1000, which we also observe on the PPSh-41’s in-game stats), and would transfer to the converted MP 41(r) as well.
As I discussed in my suggestion to fix the MP 41(r) in-game’s rate of fire (check it out here: Fixing the MP 41(r)'s Rate of Fire), converting a PPSh-41 from 7.62mm Tokarev to 9mm Parabellum should drop the rate of fire by about 100 RPM. This means that the late PPSh-41 converted into an MP 41(r) should have a base RoF of 900 RPM, upgraded to 1040 RPM.
I believe this is the best option to give Germany a more competitive SMG at BR 3. The ZK-383 is currently the best option, but is outclassed by Type 100 Late and PPSh-41 Box due to it’s RoF being slower. This will of course mean that USA will need a better BR 3 SMG, but this is something we are all probably aware of already, and can be made as a separate forum suggestion.
Here are what the stats would generally look like:
Damage: 6.7 or 6.8 Upgraded (balance decision)
Magazine Capacity: 32
RoF: 900 (1040)
Reload Speed: 2.6 to 3.0 (balance decision)
Recoil: worse than average
Dispersion: 0.71 or higher (worse than average)
Assuming it had average stats, 6.8 damage and 900 RPM would be overpowered for this battle rating, so it either needs damage to be 6.7 (no more two-tapping vitality), or have worse recoil, dispersion, reload, or a combination of the three to compensate. Ultimately, the goal is for Germany to have something competitive, not push power creep/bias/overpowered weapons.
