Making Enlisted a Better Place №75

But ingame the fully upgraded fire rate for both the MP 40 and silenced Mp 40 ends up as both 630 rpm. So unless you stats card is wrong they end up beeing the exact same here.

Ah, I missed the “base” part

Maybe it’s time they gave us the Steyr MP40?

Depending the damage would be BR3 or BR4 if It have 7.0 It will go to BR4 if 6.8 BR3

Depends how big the mag is

Is just the common 32 round mag

It would probably have more like 6.7 damage but low recoil like the PPSH-41

Well, we already know most people will say br3 because of ppsh then lol.

I actually hate using them. Half the time it seems like half my bullets disintegrate in mid air

Probably on the bodies meanwhile they fall also I feel that germans will want It to have 7.0 damage at BR3 just because the cry abouth the dody armor :joy:

It’s not the MP40/1, but the MP41 that was sold as a Founder weapon back in the CBT days. Before the buff, it had a higher rate of fire than the MP40 and was actually worth using. However, in this update the MP41 received no buff at all, and it has ended up as a weapon with a slower rate of fire than the MP40.

Oh, thought it was a typo. Yeah that stinks. Maybe it’s because it’s a founder weapon, they don’t want to change them at all in general to maintain the original state of them as momentos. Atleast to my knowledge they’ve never changed one before, but I also can’t remember all the little changes over the years.

Then again, there’s been plenty of old guns seemingly forgot about until randomly they get updated. So there’s still hope.

The PPSh-41 has a rate of fire of 1200 and a 35-round magazine; these stats are relative, so it should obviously be BR3. Even the Thompson despite having lower ROF than those two, features a 30-round magazine and higher damage than any other SMG, which is precisely why it remains one of the best weapons, Germany needs more guns in 9x25mm or the Danish 9x23mm, meanwhile Japan can get some love with the .45 ACP.

I’d say Japan’s situation is worse in that regard; that said, the 8mm Nambu would be better if it had a damage value of at least 6.8 without changing the bullet velocity or certain weapons can simply had higher damage; the Type 2A and Type 2 (BR4) would be more effective with a Damage of 7 or 6.9

There’s only one tommy worth using in br3 and it aint the TT one. They are not that great and have many downsides. The +1 damage won’t make a lick of difference facing guns with 1100 rpm. Especially if the 1100 rpm gun kills in two hits at 6.8 damage, and even if it was a 3 hit kill vs a tommy 2 hit kill, the rpm difference, recoil, accuracy, and velocity more than makes up for that. 45 apc needs to do more damage and gain some better recoil control and/or dispersion if germany wants to start getting all these ppsh type guns, a 1,000+rpm tommy like japan got would also be warranted at that point.
