Obsess over damage numbers all you want… i enjoy it as it is… i’m not surprised a functionally assault rifle takes more than 1shot to kill at range… i choose it for the ease of control… usability and average performance.

At this point I’ve already realized there won’t be any constructive argument coming, just raw emotions and takes like “this is how I feel.” Of course you’re entitled to your opinion, no problem with that, but I haven’t really seen any appeal to actual facts.

I agree that the G43K should be demoted to BR 4. Essentially, it’s a cross between the STG-45 and AKT-40, which are both in BR 4. At the same time, the G43K is significantly inferior even to the M2 carbine, the worst of the researchable automatic rifles in BR 5. I won’t even mention the other automatic rifles; they’re significantly more powerful.

Furthermore, I suggest keeping in mind that the G43K is only available in a limited edition of four, which again is similar to the STG-45.

Ideally they would decompress BR5 into BR5 and BR6, letting the non-Federov assault rifles and TT SMGs be BR5 along with a few machine guns while pushing the top tier SF rifles, jets, heavy tanks, and certain weapons into BR6.

I’d also like a recoil and reserve ammo nerf to SF, except for the Type Hei Auto.

That’s exactly how it was in the campaigns:
the Mkb versus the PPSh/PPD.
Moscow, Stalingrad.

Well MKB was quite bad tho, which is why later Kiraly got added.

People didn’t use MKB - instead people used Sniper MKB, which had current STG rate of fire, better dispersion but crazy vertical recoil.

Old sniper MKB was a blast to play with, tho it never has been changed, I doubt it plays the same as back in the day.

That’s just a select fire rifle. Whether or not it one hit kills doesn’t change what it is, that’s true for the Kurz as well as the M2 carbine. Should I call it a Select Fire Carbine instead? The actual gun doesn’t matter when it’s not in the Assault Rifle slot, if it’s not classified as an Assault Rifle in the game comparing it to them is nonsense. The STG is better but that doesn’t matter when it’s impossible to use it in the same slot as the Kurz

I think what the community agrees upon is the concept that select fire rifles are full power rifle round rifles with full auto. Basically what others would call a battle rifle.

The biggest contributor to something being an assault rifle is its being a full auto gun with an intermediate cartridge - 8mm kurz in this case, same as STG.

G43 k needs two shots to kill.

The STG is better but that doesn’t matter when it’s impossible to use it in the same slot as the Kurz.

Again, it doesnt matter that STG is limited to assaulters and FG42 isnt, unlike all other BRs, BR5 class restrictions are irrelevant, FG, AVT AVS, T20, M2 Carbine, STG, Type Hei are all top meta guns that have a bit of different gameplay, but fit the same role = mid range full auto mayhem.

This weapon is beautiful if you use it with engineers; the accuracy certainly isn’t too bad, but the rate of fire needs improvement. This is unlike the FG42 1 and 2, which both have a lot of vertical (FG42) and horizontal (FG42-2) recoil that isn’t easily exploited since Engineer IIs don’t have enough perk points.

It matters. Should I compare the Thompsons with the Garand? No, because their individual stats are entirely irrelevant to the other, I can’t use the Thompson in a Rifle slot nor the Garand in the SMG slot. They are two separate weapon slots, like the STG-44 and G43 Kurz, that can’t be balanced against each other without being absolutely stupid. One is irrelevant to the other when it’s impossible to use them in the same slot. SMGs are balanced against SMGs, not Rifles, and Rifles are balanced against Rifles, not SMGs. They are not the same weapon class, IN THE GAME, and shouldn’t be balanced against each other.

If you want to compare it to the STG suggest it becomes an AR, IN THE GAME, because right now it isn’t.

They aren’t the same weapon type in the game and comparing them is stupid until they are. If you want the Kurz to be balanced against the STG then make it a damnable AR first. The real life types matter as much as a dead rat in Ohio to a man in Moldova, they’re not the same in the game and as such aren’t comparable without being nonsensical.

i do have some of the G43 Kurzts and imo are kinda fine as they are.

Idk tbh it would be Bad to have a better rof at least 600-700 and it would matter to much since is very límited weapon (which i don’t have since i spent all My GO on LAD and RMN-50 (i have no regrets)

M2 Carbine, Fedorov and Type Hei dont follow this standard of rifle to troopers and ARs to assaulters logic anyways.

Also, again, STG44 isnt better or worse than FG42 II - and as such by you logic we should compare it to FG42, which is obviously the better weapon.

Also, for once ignoring game logic - this G43 K would 100% be an assault rifle, not that it matters.
