The issue with this, FG42 is not better or worse than STG, BR5 performance is mixed and those limitations dont really matter.

Yes, that is true, but that doesnât change that it is a Semi Auto.
Thatâs my point, comparing weapons that donât fill the same slot, AR/SMG and Rifles, is not sensible. The Kurz is worse than the STG, yes, but that doesnât really matter when I to fill a rifle slot, the STG can be as good as it wants if it canât go into the slot it doesnât matter.
The STG-44 also has a semi-automatic mode, and many other weapons do too.
It used to be a meta gun.
Now itâs the worst thing you can get through leveling or Golden Orders. Thatâs the problem.
Restoring the fire selector and a high rate of fire up to 700â800, like it used to be, is not possible.
There are a few options:
- Raise the rate of fire
- Lower it to a tier below
- Improve other weapon stats
If you have the option to take something better, youâll take itâthere are better guns.
So why bother with this mistake?
From the next update, the best SMG in leveling will be the Urahan at 3 BR.

Even compared to the M2 carbine, or the M2A1 that is issued to assault troops in the slot.
Real money was spent on this weapon.

Well semi auto doesnât necessarily need to one hit kill - those low damage rifles are what I would call carbines. How would you call SFR that dont one hit kill?

Thatâs just a select fire rifle. Whether or not it one hit kills doesnât change what it is, thatâs true for the Kurz as well as the M2 carbine. Should I call it a Select Fire Carbine instead? The actual gun doesnât matter when itâs not in the Assault Rifle slot, if itâs not classified as an Assault Rifle in the game comparing it to them is nonsense. The STG is better but that doesnât matter when itâs impossible to use it in the same slot as the Kurz.

And so, the Allies have both an assault rifle and a battle rifle, and the one in the assault slot is among the best in terms of accuracy and spread.
Their rate of fire is also much higher, around 800+.
I still donât understand why thereâs such a fuss just to improve it.
Many players simply donât have it.
Many have 2, 3, or 4 of them.

This gun would be way too powerful at BR4. Remember this thing is considered a âregularâ rifle as opposed to an assaulter gun and can be equiped by regular troops. Imagine matching this thing up against the SVT-40.
I have to see first, Uragan has had some bad dispersion, maybe the change will not be super OP considering ZK-383 has very good dispersion.

What will change from +50 rate of fire?
Right now thereâs the Mkb 35 at 2 BR with 400 RPM.
Thereâs the Lahti at 2 BR, which is supposed to be an LMG, but in reality itâs basically an automatic rifle at 2 BR.
A KV-2 fighting against 2 BR squads is a much scarier thing to me than a couple of rifles like the Mkb 42(H).
Keep as is⊠it virtually makes any engi an assault engi.
