As you know the HMGs in enlisted have different stats. However I don’t think many people know just how different they are. Here are the stats.

As we can see the German and Russian HMGs have around twice the fire rate/DPS as their counterparts. However not only that but their heat up rates have been artificially buffed. Sure their reduce is lower but it takes 3 G/R rounds to make the same heat as one J/US round which outweighs it. I don’t like this very much and would like to see it changed to reflect the real rounds and guns. The guns, although varied should heat up at around the same rate give or take. The guns that fire faster should naturally heat up faster sacrificing DPS for length of firing time.
While we are on this topic the DSHK has the wrong rate of fire. It should be (ROF) (insert source here)
Just to be clear I am suggesting that Heat and heat reduction rates be mostly standardized across HMGs. Some variation based off of how hot the rounds are and barrel weight is acceptable.

If you don’t like this idea tell me what you would rather have.
What if the Type 93 HMG got a fairly quick reload animation and no overheat?
Would make more sense IMO. Tis mag fed after all, reloads for all belt feeds too might not be bad IMO with a reduced overheat. Not to mention at lower BR’s the belts could be shorter to balance them and at high BR’s they could have a long belt.
The M2HB has a Heavy barrel and is set up for sustained fire So it should be faster and fire longer with a 575-600 Rof and 150-250 round belts M2 is the standard barrel variant and is lighter but can’t sustain fir like the HB.
