As you know the HMGs in enlisted have different stats. However I don’t think many people know just how different they are. Here are the stats.
| Name | ROF | Per Shot | Reduce | Reduce on Overheat | Shot Count |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| M2 | 450 | 0.04 | 0.2 | 0.1 | 48 |
| DSHK | 850 | 0.016 | 0.1 | 0.1 | 91 |
| MG-131 | 900 | 0.015 | 0.1 | 0.1 | 93 |
| Type 93 HMG | 390 | 0.05 | 0.2 | 0.1 | 42 |
As we can see the German and Russian HMGs have around twice the fire rate/DPS as their counterparts. However not only that but their heat up rates have been artificially buffed. Sure their reduce is lower but it takes 3 G/R rounds to make the same heat as one J/US round which outweighs it. I don’t like this very much and would like to see it changed to reflect the real rounds and guns. The guns, although varied should heat up at around the same rate give or take. The guns that fire faster should naturally heat up faster sacrificing DPS for length of firing time.
While we are on this topic the DSHK has the wrong rate of fire. It should be (ROF) (insert source here)
Just to be clear I am suggesting that Heat and heat reduction rates be mostly standardized across HMGs. Some variation based off of how hot the rounds are and barrel weight is acceptable.
