If they don’t either nerf the fuck out of the Vitality perk or preferably remove it, I’m not sticking with Enlisted in the long run.

this is going to be at least 80% of the remaining (most people already left because of this exact reason) playerbase, probably.

I almost find it fascinating, how is all this connected into a much bigger monstrosity. The monstrosity that will most likely bury Enlisted alive unless it will be addressed before OBT launch.

Not sure when this became the MP 41 discussion, but yeah, I do think it is overperforming. Certainly in rate of fire, as it should have the same 500rpm as the MP 40, but yes, it should be heavier. Basically it should trade weight for recoil stability in comparison to the MP 40, not just being flat out better than it in any way.

About the large update, I am fairly pleased with it overall. AI feel much more useful in some combat situations (though still needs a lot of work with super fast reflexes and choosing correct cover) and I am happy to see more weapons have their authentic models be added.
I also am actually a fan of the new animations, and even the head bobbing, though I thought I wouldn’t be at first. However, this level of head bobbing when running really isn’t realistic since your eyes should automatically stabilize the image for you.

In the future, I really hope that work begins to shift towards gunplay mechanics. Things such as getting down correct bullet penetrations for each guns, adjusting damage/falloff and recoil of weapons, correct weights, etc. Since the guns are a huge part of the game, I believe that as much work should be put into them as possible so they can get to have their own unique feel to them based on realistic parameters.

Agreed. Having most guns have the exact same weight makes it feel like the devs dont care about the guns and they just wanted something done.

Like: Love your game. Love the pace, fog of war theme, realistic battle participation. I can feel exhausted after a battle :crazy_face:. The Squad concept is a winner. I struggle at bottom of the kill list however, I am almost 74 years old ex commando and my eyesight :nerd_face:might be a handicap. Nevertheless, I stay determined to improve my game.

I wonder who your oldest player is?

Dislikes: I get killed too quickly (joking). However I sometimes wonder when bearing an MG (German) that I get targeted too quickly even when crawling in cover, The same doesn’t seem to happen with other weapons.

Don’t Understand: The concept of training troops up is good however, the present system seems to be overly complicated. Upgrading of soldiers out of squads where you lose two is ? (why).

My comments are no doubt very basic when compared with those made by your many passionate and more experienced players. Just be careful not to over complicate and over engineer your game to suit a few high rollers.

Hey thats a nice comment above me! But anyhow, wanted to mention few things

  1. Soviet side is winning well now, because many SU players leveled to proper level. But if we get wipe+Open Beta release, SU will again struggle for a month or two.

  2. Tank balance has improved, mainly because more clutter on maps. More bushes now, more structures, more stuff blocking view, etc. This nerfs tanks to some degree. Might be sufficient.

  3. Madsen after patch - damn, pretty junky. I miss my old drum DP model. Would be nice to get DP-28. lol it’s already in game, it’s in training area.

Balanced improved, AI squaddies behave somewhat better. +

Overall, im enjoying playing the game. Now that my 3 squads are good and leveled, I can have some fun.

Dont Like: Madsen, I think it would be fine if they changed it for the DP machine gun and put the madsen for the campaign with the English

The Madsen is Danish, but saw plenty of Russian service in WWI and the Russo-Japanese war.

Hey I’m a Xbox guy who desperately wants pc games and you guys have started that in this game. I compare it to hell let loose they’ve got you beat lol but I’m thankful for your venture to Xbox territory.

The movement in game is a little clunky and I have trouble aiming over cover or through windows especially my rifle will do some weird stuff but my game still zooms in. Other than that combat is solid.

The AI are what kill this game in my opinion though. If you were to replace just the AI and implement real players into those positions and have everyone with their own class.

I posses both games and here’s my opinion
Sure, HLL has less issues right now because it was released before but Enlisted has more potential and I’ll tell why:

  1. Noob friendliness
    Hell let loose is not very noob friendly. Most players behaved very bitchy when I told them I’m new. There are no tutorials

  2. Gameplay
    Gameplay in Hell let loose is definitely not for everyone and requires too much patience

  3. Community
    Finding a good server is very hard. There are almost no english speaking servers so I have to talk with people on German (my German is not very good).
    I get banned 2 minutes after not using the mic so I have to talk all the time even if I don’t want to say anything. Talking also makes me deconcertrationed.
    When trying to play on american servers, I get banned immediately for high ping.
    Also, as I have also said before, my german is not the best and now I have to learn german “military words” just to play a f**king game.

Some battles last too long and sometimes I have to leave before the battle had ended (because I have work to do irl). I’ve been banned from 50% of battles I have played. It’s real pain in the a**

Don’t get me wrong, HLL is a good game and that’s why I bought it
But Enlisted has the ability to beat it

Community toxicity and elitism is what holds back virtually all milsims.
Enlisted should shit on them in that regard, because while we’re still moderately toxic at least we’re not elitist.

The balance has definitely shifted towards the Russians. Russians already had the best top tier tank and plane before the patch. The German SMGs now hit like puff-balls and the PPD is a hand-held MG-42. If I pick up a PPD with my Premium soldiers, I don’t use the MP-41.

The nerfs to make players play SU more went too far. Try to make the game feel more realistic.

Posting discussions prior to the MP-41 nerf shows little. The MP-41 is now weaker than a fully upgraded MP-40 or MP-38. The damage drop-off made it a much weaker weapon. Also, it has recoil now

So they have balanced it

I dont think MP should be as powerful as it was before

The game feels perfectly balanced now, when I play both teams my win-rate is normal

But I do have to say that MP-28 feels better than the MP-38

The damage was nerfed and now you are forced to upgrade it. Unfortunately, that’s not currently possible with the MP-41. If you’ve fully upgraded the MP-28, it will have a lower TTK.
