Feedback for update 0.1.13.25

I don’t know why can we carry 7 grenades per soldier

That’s like 49 grenades per squad

Not to mention the TNT pack spam

Probably 7-9 TNT’s per squad

yes grenade spam is so sht man now we even have that screen shaking every few seconds due to those grenade …eventually just give me grenades and I shall alone win the game

Devs introduced weight to balance grenades but even then, soldiers are not much slower when carrying 7 grenades.

We need limits for these, for example:
In one squad (soviet) we can carry:

up to 7-8 Molotovs
But only 3-4 grenades
And TNT pack should be like 1-2 per squad

Germans used less molotovs and more grenades but they should still use less than what we see now

Now that I’ve put a considerable amount of time into testing the game since the update, here’s my feedback

What I like:
-Bipods. Although it’s very finnicky atm, I still consider this a welcome addition.
-The new madsen model
-Changes to recoil of MPs.
-Changes to the ZB-26
-Squad formation. Would love to see more complex commands in time.
-Shotgun getting two shots.
-Colour of friendly fire from tanks. Looks like a frickin Star Wars set.

What I don’t like:
-New zone capture progress UI. It went from decent in alpha to bad and now the worst.
-The new head wobbling/shake effects. Even though I like it’s addition, It’s giving me headaches.
-The new weapon upgrade system.
-Exorbitant amount of parts required for weapon upgrades while still relying on luck.
-Accuracy/recoil of PPDs. There should be a take away for that high rof.
-Ability to spam mortars overlooked.
-‘Deploy Bipod’ message when going prone regardless of whether the weapon has a bipod. Especially rifles.
-Germans not getting the shotgun
-Colours can be better. I don’t like how bright it is. Another great addition would be weather like overcast and drizzle to make matches a but different from each other.
-Inability to get logistics tickets past level 26.
-Weapon delivery system with guaranteed equipment. It’s not very economical to open anything other than the all random packs.

I think PPD is more than balanced right now and like irl it is controllable despite having high RoF
Also to note that damage of PPD is very questionable, sometimes it kills in 3 shots and sometimes it wont kill in 20 shots

It still falls behind the MP in med range so I dont think it should be nerfed

What I want fixed is the sound of PPD, it doesnt match the RoF

That’s a bug and I’d rather see it fixed that giving PPDs the current rof with the very little recoil

Decided to give the PPD a quick test in training and it’s without doubt the best SMG in game right now.

All shots fired while standing from the place you equip weapons from.

Closest target - Full auto

Next set of targets - Full auto

And the next(can be considered medium range) - Fired while standing in bursts.

This was done with the Box Mag PPD. Think of what the drum can do. The audacity to call MPs laser lol

Let’s fix it and then see if it needs nerfs or not

Same thing was with placeholder madsen, the dp-27, one shot sounded like 3 shots, so, that should also be fixed

and yeah, I agree about ppd, that thing should be buffed/fixed rather than nerfed…

quick words, i’m sorry if i generalize over some aspects, but i don’t wanna make this whole comment too long to read. i catched up quite quickly the newer chances and in order to not make this comment long enough, i don’t think that “neutral” changes needs to be adressed. as i’m going to speak mainly for things that i think of the overhall update. this game it’s good, but it’s turning to be almost barely playable. and i’ll explain why. it might be harsh. but i do not mean to disrespect anyone. just keep it in mind.

What i like:

  • new camera shake system.
requires a bit of work, but it’s a good improve. i can feel a bit more immersed.

  • new bots formations
great addition, can’t wait to get more ^^

  • new bipod mechanic
    requires some works too.

  • new whole vehicle sections mentions in the main thread
it’s really, really cool, effects well made, soldiers can now properly burn if the tank is on fire.

  • i liked the whole new interface
as i said, i don’t wanna spend too many words, but it’s really good. now you don’t have the little heads icon all over the cap bar. thin, and clear to understand if it’s being contested or not.

  • love the new sounds too. incredibly amazing.

What i don’t like

but now… we talk about the what i don’t like. and reading in the feedbacks of the others… i’m not the only one.

the general feeling, according by you strategy, is to make the game looks good by making two steps foward, and "one step back ". the only problem that you didn’t quite understand, is that this one " step back " strategy it’s a bad move, and cover all the progress that the whole team made until now. giving even more complains to fill the already present and long list from players. i do like this game. but it’s getting harder and harder to like it.

  • AI System:
even after the first alpha of this game, you did an admirable job over the year, but this whole system where the game it’s designed to shine, people can only notice the truee AI capability after 100 hours of play. in order to get their first 3/4 stars soldiers and fill them. saying that this whole system it’s bad somewhat bad because you have to spend a lot of time in order to upgrade those AI acting like they should. only because AI effiency it’s locked behind unlocked stars. which i understand. but at the same time, it’s just tidious.

  • new upgrades for weapons:
this is… the worst part of this update making the entire update one of the worst updates ever ( after the one that nerfed the german weapons for no reason in order to hope that some german players would have transfered to russian side. spoiler allert, it did not happen). it’s not clear what are you trying to make here to be honest, but i can tell you all that it’s not working very well. it’s just one of the most flawless system ever designed.
where this whole " feature " make you lose the willing to play this game. and if things like this goes in open beta, may the god have mercy upon all of you, because the critics will not.
not only this system gives frustration to the players knowing that they wasted gears ( translated in real time and effort putted behind ) in order to get a few of those, but also knowing the fact that they ended up wasting time to not get the desired upgrade because of a unreasonable “gamgling”. not to mention, if i managed to make the upgrade, good luck with the others 3/4 levels.

  • More Obvius Upcoming Micro Transations.
it is truee that you are still " teasing " us from saying that this game might, or might not become free to play. but giving the last update it’s quite clear. and i’m " sorry " for you, but this has to be said, as players our selves, we played games, knowing what’s the best strategy, the one that actually worked making players consider if investing money in it, or not. but from what i can see in this game, micro transitions are almost a must if you want to keep up with the others, and only if you want to have fun.
and your way of almost forcing the players to pay in order to pay it’s utterly ridicolous.
it is truee that i ain’t a menager. which surely has their things to plan and put in action on his/their own. but from people that has experience, i will highly suggest you to change direction. as if i have to be honest, this game it’s misleading if we have to consider the official site, and lives of different streamers.
like, you can’t proclaim your game to be authentic and somewhat realistic when in order to actually play you have to spend some real money ( not yet ) in order to get a rifle that actually shoot. i don’t know about who designed this system. but i can tell that they don’t know much about ww2. surely axis and ally side didn’t used rifles that somehow reduced the damage, or had more penetration. at the point of making any starter gun a bubble gun shooter.
having different rifles with different stats it’s a thing, but being forced to make upgrades in order to make a rifle more usable it’s a poor and greedy exscuse for me.

  • full of previous bugs and not many suggestions implemented
it has been mark as huge update, when in reality i would say a medium one.
( again, i’m not trying to shame anyone. i do understand people working as i have a job my self ) so i respect sacrfices, people, and many other things. but the main problem is, that there are still issues from the beginning of the pre CBT launch.
    just to name a few;
    Location of Compass Suggestion
[0.1.10.64] Ammo Box - No Secondary/Sidearm Ammo Refiller
and many others out there. in around 13 updates, only a few of those actually had those implementations. which leads to the next point.

  • lack of transparency, and communication
a cooperation among us players, and the team it’s almost impossible.
it’s sad to say this but… we honestly don’t get many replays from devs and people of duty, which i understand due to the high ammount of posts… but than why " hiring " us in the first place, if each updates you just ignore our feedbacks and we don’t know if we are helping or not.
because right now, to be honest, i feel a bit dumb. i really enjoy enlisted, and i’m glad to help the best as i can, like many others. and we all believe in this amazing project. but it’s being plagued by the whole greedy system. and whenever we actually fill the entire forum with posts about it, we don’t get answers at all. so as we said multiple times, people leaves. and those few that remains are just for pity… as we received the invitation we are willing to help… but on the other hands… you are not giving us a lot of choices.

and in conclusion,

What is not easy to understand;

it’s why this whole bad marketing?

i would really like to at least type with who thought about this whole project, and ask him why and how he thought that it was going to be a good idea.

First impression: many bugs.
Then: (I only play lonefighter)
BOT AI has been increased to a “acceptable” degree. Now bots no longer gather together in sectors. Also can choose more different routes. But they are smart enough now, is becoming too OP (lonefighters bots are lv5), consider nerf a bit.

A lot of weapons have odd sounds.
I think PPD uses the sound from minigun or something like that.

PPSh in training has very good sound and giving that same sound to PPD will be a good idea (considering that both weapons are very similar)

What I like:

  • Improved AI, very much appreciated
  • Overall improved smoothness of some animations, it seems

What I don’t like

  • New camera shake. I think it needs to be toned down slightly. It’s to the point of nauseating for me, so slightly decreasing the intensity of it would be good. In my opinion.

As Im pretty new player, I dont know the situation about ppsh, why does russians dont have it? its in game but not being used, like ppd is from the start to the end of campaign just with 2 variations of magazine, was the ppsh too good and thats why it was removed? someone tell me

The game takes place in like 41 and the Ppsh began mass production in at the very ass end of 41 into 42.

Weapon types and variety is not mirrored between faction, russians has some guns that germans dont have. By the removing ppsh they have added something else - thats the answer.

understood, thanks, now i know )

yeah, i already know that, im not complaining anyhow, just wondering

Because grenades are fun! Leave lots of grenades, it’s a cool boom boom. I love showering out nades and clearing out entire groups. Clearing out buildings is fun too.

Anyway, Madsen changes - dislike, the magazine blocks the view now. I’d like the Drum back, or ability to choose magazine types. Original drum Madsen was perfecto, nice light assault MG, just right for Soviet style. But if we get options to choose magazine types - even better.

In regards to more upgrades now - if we stop NOW, and that’s it - that’s fine. If what we have now is the top, max level possible, its fine. Because this is like Epic purple level max, right? So if this is max ever, it’s fine. But no more.

But you are aware that was DP27 model, not drum Madsen?

I was not aware, no. I didn’t know. Just looked up Madsen lol well this is confusing. It’s fine I guess then. I thought Madsen had original skin.

…?

Type ‘‘Madsen MG’’ and then type ‘‘DP-27’’ on internet

If you want a quick review:

DP-27
DP-27 (drum MG) was a placeholder model to be used for Madsen before Madsen got it’s original skin.
DP-27 will be added in the future. This gun was the standard soviet MG during ww2, it combined low weight and large mag size so it was a reliable weapon irl. After the war, it was replaced by RPD machine gun.

Madsen

Madsen is the worlds first light machine gun to see mass production. I think this gun first saw service in 1908 and is still used today by Brazilian police.
Madsen proved to be a successful and reliable gun which is the reason for it’s long service time.
This machine gun is NOT made in Russia, this weapon is made in Denmark and was bought by the Russians during ww1.

Madsen also saw wide service by Norwegians during ww2

Germans and Russians also used this machine gun in ww2 but only in limited numbers.
That’s how Madsen entered Enlisted
