What I like:

What I dislike:
The inability to turn off screen shaking (makes me motion sick), Running feels slower than walking, AI still move around too much, forced to look down sight while bipod is used (Especially with ZB 26), crouching bind is stuck on toggle (ie. press once to crouch) holding option doesnt work.
Remove the ability to go into the walls on Monastery invasion. There is nothing fun about trying to push through it when you can just build layer after layer of hedgehogs in the stairs preventing the attackers from doing anything about it.
Or just remove the map because it’s dogshit, up to you. I gave it a good chance and played through it every time I’ve gotten it, but from now on I’m just going to leave and re-queue. This map isn’t fun in any iteration.
Monastery is a miserable map to play on. The first three advancement points are reasonable enough, but the monastery itself is nigh impossible to even penetrate, much less capture considering the ramparts (which people can sit in and snipe from), the door choke point (which enemies will block up with hedgehogs, barbed wire and sandbags) and the cover-less push from the town across the river. If you play this map in a defensive position you can almost certainly guarantee yourself a win because the enemy team will exhaust itself attempting to push from the houses, across the bridge and through the chokepoints.
If there was no ability for the enemy to place rally points along the walls of the monastery, and if the windows atop the walls were blocked over, perhaps monastery could become a viable map. In its current state though it’s best to just requeue if you’re part of the attacking team.
Monastery needs a map limit or place barriers on the second to last point. Defenders can literally look down on the attackers and just spawn trap them if they have a AT gun or any throwable explosives. The attackers should get more cover when crossing the small river or put gun emplacements on the attacking side buildings

i do not like how can easily destroy scaffolding to middle (or last point in invasion) so there are only few ways get onto point
i see many time german player throw grenade on scaffolding so cannot use it to get up
in addiotn, ladder VERY buggy to use worse than source game ladder definitely need fix
It is the only map with any level of verticality. It really depends what you prefer. It is my favorite map, so I do not think it should be removed. It also feels weird to get all of this negativity after the map was praised so much when it was added, as it is unique and refreshed the otherwise stale rotation of maps in Moscow.
It’s also the only map that actually has a decent chokepoint where defenders can hold well, with most other maps just leading into streamrolls if one side gains a slight advantage.
But of course none of that really matters if Germany almost always wins anyways
Honest to god they could just make the area inside the walls above the gate not count as the point and I’d be happy.
I can deal with snipers sitting on the edge of the map on top of the roofs fine thankfully
People play it like twats now that they know the goober spots.
I do have to agree that that is a bit too much in favor of defense, but if they added an outside entry from the tower to the left of that point, attackers could move up there and into the point from up top, while giving the defenders another angle to defend, while still somewhat maintaining the verticality and chokiness of the point.
People will always abuse maps. The abuse the big church conquest map just as badly with all the spawncamping. No matter what the devs do, there will be abuse
The center is pretty poorly-designed now that you mentioned it. I almost never even attempt to go directly inside for that reason. I usually stay up on the ramparts with an MG trying to stop the enemy team from getting in to contest it.
While it’s technically possible to get to the upper level from the outside, it’s functionally impossible unless you’re on the defending team in invasion and climb up there before the objective shifts, at which point you may as well go up from the inside and completely eliminate the chance of getting sniped in the process.
Once the enemy team is inside the walls, there’s no chance you’ll climb up the outside scaffolding without getting shot. I did see someone almost manage it once, but unfortunately they were shot by me before they got to the top of the final ladder.
Edit: it wasn’t even the final ladder, they had an entire second set of scaffolding to climb up.
Nope, you can climb into the windows from there without going up the second scaffolding, or you can simply enter the main building after going halfway up the first scaffolding
What I like
Mounting bipod making machine gun a bit more useful for defense
AI learn to prone when needed as well as build/dismantle order
Authentic weapons models (always welcome)
One hit with melee to kill a downed opponent
What I don’t like
Weapon upgrade, whilst I have nothing against improving weapon, but it is too much RNG especially made worse with possible failure, removing failure chance might help but there is a slight concern for imbalance.
Character camera shake, even though I like it, it probably isn’t a good idea given the fact that the game physic is janky, walk up a small incline suddenly bounced up and camera start shaking, might not be good for people easily get motion sickness. Even if you don’t want camera shake to be removed at least make it take effect at certain height, currently slight drop trigger it.
Yeah the mortar needs another kneecapping. This shit isn’t fun especially when they can fire for half an hour straight from their spawn with no counter.
I love the new update!
The AI seem more alert!

Overall combat seems much improved as needed!
- Movement is better
- Shaking screen in mindbogglingly smooth/perfect
What I don’t like quite yet.
The movement is still slightly kind of clunky. A smoother transition of weapon poses/movement from running and to stopping would greatly improve the experience. Technically the weapons kind of pop back into position too quickly after running.
Plus as a suggestion, 15% overall movement speed feels and fits with the movement animations better.
What I like:
-New tank main gunfire effect, very nice, very cool
-AI seems to move a bit better
-Bipods work well
-I love the addition of the head bobbing and ground shaking when there’s an explosion or tank drives by
-I’m excited for the new tank and planes that had their models added
-Madsen looks funny as hell
What I don’t like:
-Building interiors are really dark all of a sudden
-for some reason, the dust kicked up but tank machine-gun fire is blue (on the BT-7 at least)
-Something I’ve noticed for a while but never really thought of mentioning until now if the fact that you can’t change weapons or reload while running. It’s not like it cancels your run, it just doesn’t happen until you stop running which has got me killed many times.
All in all: 8/10, good update, some kinks need to be worked out but hey that’s why we have beta tests
What I don’t like is the same @5762269 pointed out. Weapons should not need even more upgrades
I also want to say that maps are still small and it still feels like meatgrinder to me.
I suggest leave these maps for “lone fighters” and add bigger maps for “squads”
due to maps being small I think AI is unable to use its full potential
Yeah they still die very fast and don’t pick a lot of kills due to disoriented enemy position
Don’t get me wrong, they are much better now but these maps should be for lone fighter
I don’t feel them to better to be honest though they don’t come infront of my tank like previously they did and for kills they still don’t do anything game is just getting full of meat grinders with grenade spam here and there just take one of your unit spam suicide grenade thats all especially in small houses thats common thing there…but wait hope is there since we got a good update

yes grenade spam is so sht man now we even have that screen shaking every few seconds due to those grenade …eventually just give me grenades and I shall alone win the game
