The ki-100 will take out a p51 each and every time. You’re in denial. And yes, japan does get some incredibly strong pieces of equipment compared to the u.s.

Yeah that’s why the allies dominate every match in air combat majority of Japanese aircrafts are overtiered and all the allies cry about Ki-100 despite P-51 is as good as Ki-100 xD If you climb you wont be losing to a Ki-100… and not gonna even start with the FW how much better it is.
If the ki-100 is behind you, climbing will not save you. Just because most people aren’t good with planes doesn’t make the p51 better. If two pilots of equal skill faced off the ki would dominate the air. Japan just lacks a good attacker plane in br3. When i play japan, i have zero problems with U.S. planes. Nor am i crying that the ki is a good plane. I think it’s great they have it. I would also like to see the ki-63 go down to br3.

As you can see one aircraft clearly have more speed. If you go on a turn fight with Ki-100 you will lose…so play your strong side or don’t play P51 if you wanna do dog fights its not a dog fighter.
What happens when you get to the maps edge?
It doesn’t matter how high you go. All you have to do is follow and wait to attack.
Why will you go there ? You need to climb so you can have energy… If you are higher then the Ki-100 you will win the fight its so simple really all you need is to be higher and go for a frontal exchange.
Speed only gets you so far, that’s my point. You can’t fly far enough out to truly turn around without being caught.
Playing planes is like playing a turn base game you must think before you do a move or play a turn fighter… if you dont wanna think play a zero…
I’ll pretend for a second the p51 can use it’s speed to survive against a skilled pilot with the ki. If you’re wasting that much time flying around to avoid it, gain speed or altitude, or flying out to the edges to loose the tail, then it still makes the ki a better plane. They don’t have to do all that bullshit to re arm and hit ground targets while surviving.
You clearly don’t understand the basics of playing P-51 or FW I think you should just play Japan and stick to a Zero or Ki-100 or with the allies with a spitfire since P-51 and FW require energy play and you must keep your energy if you don’t climb you cant dictate the fight. If you don’t gain altitude don’t play boom and zoom aircraft…

For real, he’s just butt hurt for no real reason. My whole argument was the zero and boomerang should be br1 and he wanted to pick a fight over it for some unknown reason even though that’s a good thing for japan.
You clearly don’t. In your mind a frontal exchange is winning. That’s a joke. The ki-100 has a better chance of destroying the p51 in a frontal exchange than the other way around due to the 20mm cannons. Not to mention the p51 doesn’t pull up/down very fast. The ki can easily land crits and then dodge downward out of the p51s sights.
You also don’t seem to understand it’s impossible to not let the ki get behind you in a p51. Once that happens, it’s game over because the speed doesn’t mean anything in these small boundaries. If the planes are flying at each other, the p51 can use it’s speed to keep going sure, but the ki can quickly turn around and follow at that point. The p51 may be out of reach for a short time after, but what you keep failing to realize is it HAS to turn around at some point. That is when the p51 meets it’s end every time, the best it can hope for is an even exchange which isn’t surviving and doesn’t make it better.
Honestly, I believe both are absolutely fine in BR2 but don’t care enough to argue about it.
Sure, but then the yak1 and bf109 should both be uptiered then. They are all pretty equivalent. Japan and u.s. could both use a better br1 fighter.

The P-51 Mustang guns (.50 caliber / 12.7 mm M2 Browning machine guns) have more effective range than the Ki-100 guns (20 mm Ho-5 cannons) in Enlisted so by what magic ?
One is 200 250 meters the other one is 400 so if you are losing frontal engagement you are not doing something right.
Ok if that’s true is it the best dog fighter or boom and zoom plane ? Literally its the only good vehicle Japan has at lower BRs and the allies crying despite having multiple better vehicles.
