Thus the automatic carbine was a universal individual weapon. Well, its not a real issued gun, so its difficult to come by any Source.

That being said, I have never seen or heard of any gun chambered in 7.62x54R that has 1000+ RPM.

Why not lower it to 900? I bet it actually still fired slower than that in reality, but at least 900 is somewhat controllable.

Is there a gun Jesus video about that gun? Typically very rapid fire guns have a light weight bolt for example, by comparing the insides of the gun with a AVT it should be possible to make estimations.

Thats effective rate of fire - as in how fast one can aim, shoot and reacqui the target and do follow-up shots.

No automatic gun ever had 100 RPM.

According to the new nomenclature, such a weapon belonged to the type of hand-held rifle-machine guns, as seen from the following table (Journal of the Artillery Department No. 381, 1916): machine guns — weight 3–4 poods, maximum rate of fire 400–600 shots per minute; rifle-machine guns — 20–25 pounds and 150–200 shots per minute; hand-held rifle-machine guns — 11–13 pounds and 100 shots per minute; automatic self-loading rifles — 10–12 pounds and 20–25 shots per minute.

Fedorov write twice - 100 shots per minute - is a maximum rate of fire, sir. We can count off maybe a reload time and a speed of aim but it still around 100-200 rof.

Yeah I would have guessed as much, most full power rifle round battlerifles, semis and DMRs that can shoot full auto sit in around 500 - 700 RPM.

FG42 seems to be the only exception that I can think of, but FG is technically more a MG than a classical rifle.
