Soldier Uniform Changes Verdict

That is the second time I’ve said it, and I will continue to.

This is a non-issue for everyone that didn’t spend money on their soldier’s appearance.
So less of lack of care, more of lack of urgency to change it or fix it.

I quite agree with the refund.
I also posted this question, but I didn’t respond much.

Problem is addressed and support department is here to solve the issues that are occuring during beta testing so… i hope it will be dealt with … if anyone has serious trouble then it must be solved and this is a serious trouble for players that were affected since the system literally dumped their money to waste… doesnt matter how much of them were affected and regardless if your panda consider to be important or not, eventually this has nothing to do with you

how this issue of soldier appearance affected you ?

It has not effected me in the slightest, I don’t put money into the game and I had largely forgotten changing a soldier’s appearance was a feature.

so you are F2p player, and thats a good thing, if i were f2p i would think it the same way, but since you joined this little thread you might have a chance to observe how enlisted support actually works

I’ve played War Thunder since before Enlisted was a thing, so I know how Gaijin support works.

As for being F2P, for full disclosure, I bought a CBT pack (M2 Hyde) which I no longer play, and I bought 1000 Gold for the first Battlepass, I purchased a battle pass (and each after that) and have not spent any gold elsewhere.
Other than that, I’m free to play

you bought the squad, and for some reason got taken away because of updates.

people spent money on it, and got no refound and lost everything to random.
that doesn’t make it any less illegal just because not everyone use this feature, or just because mister panda here forgot that exist?

and since people actually spend on it, that means that THERE ARE people that care.

this had happen befor. it was fixed after, if i recall in a week time.

its prety much the same issue as refill mortars multiple times on the same armor crate, after it was changed it did happen twice on diferent patches.

imo, its just a code error, probably fixable as happen befor and wasnt a intended change.

@8894782 this issue did happen befor and they did fixed it after a few days. like 4 or 5 months ago.
as i stated above its probably an error on game code that made this happen.

hopefully they will fix it. but, as a beta game this is kinda expected to happen. some bugs happen…

this, imo, its the type of issue that might happen again. its understandable if it does. no big deal imo. lets just report said issues with proper ways/follow the guideline on how to make a report so they can fix them.

i m not that into soldier costumisation tho, but i understand the overall feeling about it… imagine us that did bought premium time/CBT premium squads and now have less features in them . both in premium time and cbt premium squads, and nothing was done about it. soldier apearence in comparison its way less of an issue (still is one tho) than said premium squads (cbt) and premium time with removed features.

but both of them, are easy enough for me to understand :
-game balance over f2p players
-New features on a Beta game as work in progress as the game develp/time passes.

not a big deal and easy to understand why this happens.

i dont know if anyone made a bug report about it after this update but creator mentioned keofox here and there was no reaction yet

that happens alot, i have done , as many users , tag him and other devs in the topic content, and no answer was found.

the best way i have noticed so far, its to follow the proper way to report the issue

as an example :

this was reported on 16 december the proper way, had a dev answer on december 17, and was fixed on december 20.

this is how to report an issue in the game:

i think, we have to follow this more- way more.

and i state/quote : “We will not be able to figure out your problem without a performance log”

“Please note that the administrators do not inform the author of the bug report about the projected time when the reported bug will be taken for review nor when it will be fixed. It may take a lengthy time to fix as it may depend on many technical factors. In some cases (for example if the problem can be solved only in several technical steps) the status of the bug report may change with a delay.”

also, the oficial feedback topic, have alot of keofox trafic, we should use it more with proper interaction into it.

as the rest of the forum, i m not sure they do read it or not.

Haven’t seen an official reply to both of my staff tags so far so I at least, will assume that they don’t care until they either reply in some way or they fix / compensate the players ( aka until proven otherwise ).

I was told to make a suggestion, not a bug report. Please re-re-re-read the ticket handler instructions and then read it a few more times just for good measure. Thank you !

Edit : As I’ve stated in the original post, I am in no way qualified or required to provide a solution to the cosmetic system, that is their right to implement as they wish. I can only suggest a fix to something not working aka the whole current issue.
