So after a wasting countless Enlisted Gold / BattlePass appearance cards ( which were at the end of the day bought with real money no matter how you twist and turn it ) and a week long support ticket ( during which the uniforms were changed yet again and in less than a couple of days ) it turns out that soldier’s “clothes are tehnically not fixated” and as we’ve all preety much witnessed by now, changing them will just be a waste of money.
As instructed by the support ticket handler as you will see in the SS below I am now posting here to let the developers know that they wasted my/and countless other player’s REAL MONEY ( be that a small amount as it may ) and one could only wonder what were to happen if legal actions were to be taken in this scenario. Regardless of what has transpired, at this point I am deeply dissapointed in how the developers choose to implement and deal with the whole matter.
I do not want neither do I need or am obligated to suggest you a “more convenient way to change clothes for soldiers” as that is not my, but the developer’s job/decision alone, yet, since this is a “Suggestions” thread I will oblige ( just for the sake of it ) that developers should refund X amount of Enlisted Gold / X amount appearance cards to anyone who was affected by this and has submitted a ticket related to the matter.
Last but not least, as per what our dear support ticket handler said himself at the end of my ticket ( and probably many others at this point ), the developers need to understand that “this aspect is important to players more than devteam may realize”, therefore I will now tag the person who seems most fitting to address them on our behalf ( @Keofox ) and hope that this issue is at least made known or cared about.

in less than 4 days from the update i had to waste 2 days changing the whole hat/helmet situation for all my factions.

just when i thought i was done, they got changed again.

It’s sad to lose the funny uniform of the soldiers, which appeared as a result of some bug.
Like an infantryman’s uniform for a tankman.

And it is advisable to spend you more money on the appearance of your soldiers.Don’t be stingy!
i mean, it is questionable spending money on appearance tickets.
but people spent actual money on it. even to get them from bp in the first place.
thats not cool to find out that… its all gone with your money too.

They should leave an explanation that one day the appearance of your soldiers may suddenly change.At least there will be an excuse xD

The only consistence is the soldier’s face.
Actually, you can change the uniform for free.
Just drag them out and in to refresh.
But still. As it advertised. The game failed to keep what you paid for. They should at least refund the gold you spent.
BTW, gaijin’s customer service sucks! Most of my friends told me its useless from WT to enlisted.

What if the changed soldier is from a premium squad ? How does one drag them out to refresh it ?
Also as stated on the “Appearance” description label : “You can change face and body proportions of the soldier”. Let’s take that for it’s face value and use that thought for an appearance change, once purchased the change affects the uniform aswell ( something that’s not stated in the description and something that the owner might not wish for )

Complete bullshit here. You spent real money and now it’s being taken away. Are they going to be taking away premium squads next? If an update reset all soldiers to level 1 will I get a refund for my gold spent on leveling them up? Seems to me like a lot of people aren’t up in arms about this because many don’t care too much about uniforms but IMO, it’s a principle thing. You spent money on something and now it’s gone. That’s bullshit, and the devs have a responsibility to either refund the money spent or fix the issue.

Darkflow has many things we shouldn’t have to pay for and at the very least the system they enforce should work. But consider they have mentioned player customisation, whether that means picking specific appearances I do not know but there’s a chance this malarkey is temporary. If so whatever system darkflow brings in gotta work. If this system stay then darkflow sort things out…

Yes I noticed the same issue with my German Tankers in Moscow. I used about 15 of the customizable orders from the Battlepass to change their uniforms and appearances. Now they’re all changed again. I spent money on the Battlepass too and feel cheated. I definitely am owed my 15 or 20 something appearance orders.

But they cant change uniforms. They are squad locked. If you put you soldier in a sniper squad hell be white camo in moscow, if in a regular infantery - regular uniform.
They also didnt change the faces, they remained the same. The only thing that changed are headwear. Either your headwear was made from a helmet to a hat or different coloured helmet. And russians berlin armor was lost on most.
But you can get them back by just sending them to reserve and back.
I dont see the issue here. You spend money for changing the face, but they didnt change so whats the problem. Yes it is annoying tough

But the appearances and body proportions didnt change. Only uniform hats did. That is what gaijin said
