Let me give you an example, then.
There is a map Beloe Lake.
Let’s say it’s that invasion mode, and you are on the axis side, you have just panzer 4 E (does not have HEAT rounds), and 3 squads which are basically being grinded. At best they have access to a AT rifle.
Engineer dedicated squad is not available, which further limits options.

Now here’s a problem: rest of the team basically mass deserts due to soviets roflstomping. They got T-50s, which you basically can’t do anything with your pathetic AP shells, and aircraft is not available due to 1 slot.

Now, granted, this would not be that bad due to BRs and tech trees now being a thing, and with proper equipment management, you can alleviate this issue. However, do You really think 1 vehicle slot is enough for F2Players? I personally would like an option to get 1 or 2 with silver.

Well do you need to seriously buy slots when 4 slots seems good enough on its own? War thunder doesn’t give many slots either like 5 slots only ig before paying with golden eagles. But war thunder more free slots matters more than enlisted because you cant respawn with same vehicle more than twice (including universal backup)

Well I played as soviet and I can say that this barely happened. T-50s sounds like “can’t do anything with your pathetic AP shells” type tank.

But in reality its a lot shittier than Pz-III N because T-50s can’t even penetrate that tanks spaced armor with their shitty 45mm canon along with giant hitbox track armor. Also its turret transverse is also shit like T-60 or T-70.

• You found infantry close to you or throwing TNT like a maniac? You would love to yeet out of the tank commander hatch to kill him just to notice… there is no commander hatch to pop out and use your smgs to shoot him down.

• So how you gonna use binoculars? Haha you can’t my comrade… You can just stick your head inside of the cupola and focus on it because it has uhh… magic glass that can zoom like a sniper scope.

• So is this cupola safe from rockets and other panzers? Just don’t worry comrade, instead trust your own motherland’s tanks because these tanks are blessed with stalinium steel made by stalin himself. You surely can survive with your crew from a multiple shot of panzerfaust or panzer’s shell.

Ermm… So yes that is the overview of the T-50 tank. So anyway 1 vehicle slot is good enough for f2p since this game isn’t focused on solo play all the time, its mostly focused on completing objectives and co-operating with teams to win. So its not you that matters, but also helping your teammates. So there is always someone with plane just like someone with tanks. So mark tanks that are headache and planes will help.

So yes the money part is always expected from a free to play game that can be considered pay to cheat, so if you don’t pay then you don’t suffer like war thunder. But if you pay, you get more benefits which is totally okay since you paid to get extra. No everything is free or anything free will be the best yk?

I’m positive that if you get the opportunity to flank the Panzer 3 N, it’s basically done for.
They generally are capable to deal with any early panzers, except this tank (unless you manage to hit a weak spot) and the later Panzer 4s (G, J and H classes) from the front.
Heck, if flanking, you can also destroy panthers.

You are basically safe at long range (due to difficulty to aim at this range).
But also, panzerfausts are a late war tech, so I’m not surprised they blow it up.
They are resistant to AT rifles, where as the AT rifle gunner, you only can penetrate the rear of the turret.
And, you can also take out tracks (with several shots).

I don’t know. Mabye one slot more already means that you can have two vehicles in battles, which elimates the stupid und unfair question for F2Ps whether they want a plane or a tank.
But you do not need them, so that is fine. Who care for the rest?

And War Thunder also does not have different classes in a battle beyond GB RB and NB, which highly limits the amount you can take with four slots only.
