I like this part of the game, so many forgotten and interesting weapons in history that get a slight nod in the game, but there’s a time and place for everything and inclusions in the tech tree need to be balanced after real world use and in game need.
Since the PPSh-41, however interesting, has neither, it shouldn’t be in the tech tree. The gun is cool, and should therefor not be thrown away. Sorry @Veekay45, I count myself as a fellow purist but I guess I’m less radical, I believe in compromise, event weapon is the only possible solution (DF are not going to throw out the gun, there is no scenario in which this could happen, only thing we can do is damage control).

The point I’m trying to make is that this is an issue a lot of people feel very strongly about, and specificly in one direction. Enough so that they took the time to make their own replies to voice their own concerns, as well as writing two topics within the span of one day to ask for this change.
People either don’t care or care very much one way, as we’ve seen on this topic.
This is ultimetly the best and simplest compromise solution.
@Euthymia07-live please forward this, many of us are concerned, I think we’ve earned the right to be noticed. I think this update is a step in the right direction, other than on this issue.

Yes I know, I just don’t really play high BR Japan because it’s drowning in fakes (Autohei, HoRi, T20, Hyde, etc), so I just haven’t wasted money on them yet

If you really cared about History you wouldn’t be buying/using Fedorov Avtomat as it did not exist past 1943 anymore as they were all depleted during Winter War and they never had such fast rof.
A quarter of the Japanese weapons in the branch were not used, not even produced. The same Otsu rifle that was the prototype. Or the same Fedorov rifle and submachine gun. The number of Armaguerra rifles was about 500 units. There was no Ho-ri at all, there were only 10 KTH pieces. Therefore, historicity is a very weak argument.
When was any good suggestion or criticism was heard and wqs fix by them? Take the April Fail event and the Zombie event with the bloody weapons, they were both events you had to pay for, and when the people spoke up about it, ignored. I bet you the only reason why the Veterans create was add to the April event wasn’t because of the criticism, but because of how many people were actually playing it.
Na i bet it was because on War Thunder was at the same time… but no War Thunder Player tell you that. Anyway… Silenced Guns should be something special even it is unhistorical like 30% of Enlisted ±
