Criteria for APC: If possible, must have an open seating section where soldiers can sit and shoot out of. Must have a gun if possible, unarmed APCs are much less exciting and would not have any new function compared to existing APCs.

Armored Cars

Due to lack of APC options, it may be necessary to give Japan some armored cars as APC options. Some of the armored cars have enough room in the rear of the car to store infantry and have external facing guns to shoot with.

All this being said, I would prefer armored cars be given to the rider class as part of a rider class overhaul.

I had great difficulty finding any options for a large caliber Japanese half track, similar to the Sd.Kfz.251/9 (75mm German APC). The only option I could come up with would be to convert the Na-To tank into an APC, given it has some room for crew in the back and a high caliber gun.

LVT-1 Alligator - USA

An early USMC amtrac. Usually armed with either dual .30 cals or dual .50 cals. Sometimes unarmed, if DF would rather do that too. You can find a bunch of destroyed ones scattered all over the Pacific maps already in-game.

Nice additions! I saw the type 98 So-Da while doing research but chose not to include it because it seemed a little pointless without a gun on it.

I included that one in the post! The german modifications would be a lot of fun to use, especially the one with the panzershreks.

I mean, sure almost all of these vehicles would never be meta. But I think a lot of them would be very fun, so I think they should be included. I think the devs have a similar thought process as they added that horrible upgunned panzer 1 premium recently with the steam launch bundle, which I think is still a fun tank to use.

Maybe not, but I think its a major waste of potential to only have 1 APC in the tech tree. Its such a waste of a good idea to not expand it, there is so many options to explore.

bro u know its not ok when they made my beloved german apc ( with mg 42) as premium thing, idk why . those vehicles are common… before this i thought they brought rare vehicles as premium… also idk who pays for that apc

I still think it was a stupid idea that the German half track being sold for real money was the sd.kfz 251 and not the french half track retrofit like the one in OP’s list
