Major doesn’t even know where current “Darkflow” is located and at which Gaijin office employees are working on Enlisted as he has zero contact outside of emails with developer/s and most likely they just give him translation of Russian news and patch notes.
He was supposed to be shining light that would revitalize Enlisted but he did nothing but to let the last light bulb to die out and stagnated game even more. It’s complete opposite what Keofox expected from him. And it was probably Gaijin not him that hired Majormcdonalds.
Speaking of Keofox he told me that Gaijin will put Enlisted into maintenance mode starting from late 2025-early2026. I wouldn’t be this pessimistic but we are not that far away from maintenance mode, we are at the skeleton crew mode where we only get the bare minimum acceptable amount of content every 3 months.

And it’s hard to be transparent when CM don’t even login to play Enlisted more than 2 times a month. Without “be active player to post” he wouldn’t be even doing this much.

What’s that?
It’s state of game where you only fix bugs, develop no new content (not even copy pasted from WT) would be added. So like that Crsed game. No new weapons, no new maps, no new characters just same events on rotation, bug fixes and cheaters getting banned.
So i don’t believe Keo in that regard it’s too easy to port WT vehicles and make new weapon models few times a month and sell it for real money.

if you look at the editions of active matter you can buy, you can see something called “isolated raid pass x10” so one can assume that you’re going to have to spend $$$ to buy a TICKET to play a PVE raid

probably in their plans AM was supposed to replace enlisted (coincidentally the dates match) but AM has practically zero interest behind it and unlike enlisted it is also a dead and bloated genre
Enlisted has the advantage of having no competition among large free WW2 games (the only one was H&G, which has been dead for a while).
AM, on the other hand, will have to face a lot of opponents in addition to DF itself and their fantastic ability to constantly shoot themselves in the balls.
I think enlisted will be partially shelved for at least a year but if AM isn’t the success gaijin wants (so it failed from the start) enlisted is their only game outside of WT with a decent player base and easy to invest in thanks to the reuse of material from WT so it’s possible that AM will end up being put into maintenance in the future while work on enlisted could start again to compensate for the monetary losses caused by AM
or at least that’s what I hope

I can only speculate that Active Matter PVP and PVE isnt going to be separated like Tarkov is so they want to gatekeep PVE to prevent people from farming it too hard
If Active Matter had a free co-op mode I could see myself maybe dicking around with it along with some friends, otherwise extraction shooters are too sweaty/stressful for me to enjoy
What to you mean? I thought AM is not F2P. Do you need to pay even harder just to unlock further modes?
The pricier editions of Active Matter says they provide “isolated raid passes” so I’m GUESSING that you’ll need to fork over cash to buy AM, and then fork over additional cash to buy tickets to play PVE raids
