Whoever's in charge of community responses and talking to the community will you actually give us an answer to this or will you let us keep guessing what's happening behind the scenes

Lol, is this common for that genre?

The company was shut down a couple years ago and enlisted has been on life support since then
You can check their tax documents in Latvia
I was permamuted for bringing it up in the discord

and maybe you are going to be banned here for mentioning this since for some reason Darkflow/Gaijin doesnt like to get exposed as how it really is even if is easily noticeable

That’s an interesting thought. However why would anyone be interested in transitioning from a World War II game to a fantasy extraction shooter in post Soviet apocalyptic environment?

If they really thought they would get their audience among World War II fans and then transition them into a Tarkov clone that’s one genius decision.

I have as much interest in playing AM as I have for Cursed or Crossover (i.e. zero).

Like any of you can change or demand what the developers do outside of Enlisted.

You guys have no right to complain that the devs have other projects besides Enlisted.

Be glad they even listen to feedback here, because quite frankly thay can abandon this game whenever they like. You dont own the devs.

You people should grow up, this type of harassment will only make the devs not care about this community.

should we … avoid the literal fact that they tried to boost their own channel with bots numbers to make it even remotely relevant?

or how apparently they cutted manages and resourches on enlisted from a project, that kinda no one asked for?

fairly sure if AM would be better than enlisted, regardless of being an extraction shooter, people would most likely it play it. not trash it from the start lol.

hell, one of the most played game is an extraction shooter.
helldiver.

and completely differes from the first chapter.

but the people from the first chapter still played the second one despite being completely different.
because it had purpose and was actually well done.

AM on the other hand.
it reeks of enlisted junkyness, same sounds, same vehicle handling.

it lives in enlisted shadows.

( but if anything, sounds like they want to make that modern enlisted a separate and actual game )

considering we have been paying their salaries all together, that might be true.

but why throw away something that was, more or less stable?

Simple - this type of negativity will not force them to improve Enlisted, it will do the opposite.

May I remind you that wastedwoodsmen with his call for SFR for all nations was so annoying to the devs, that Germany was the only nation allowed to have sonething like FG42 for quite some time?

The devs have somewhat of a troll attitude towards people that cry constantly, these posts will lead to more things we dont want.

If the developers weren’t constantly lying to us—and if I didn’t know half the things I do—I might actually agree with you. But stop playing the white knight and look at the facts: this game is eight years old. The developers deserve to be questioned, not pampered. Or are you suggesting that lying to them is somehow the better option?

And I was thinking about making this a private DM but after what I’ve seen I’ll let it be out there.

And because of your stupid question I actually have to agree with Erika and Adam.

What do you mean? Is it quite possible that almost everyone who was developing the game back then is no longer there.

I don’t even think this game is run by a dedicated team of developers working exclusively on this project anymore.
More likely a few Gaijin devs who primarily work on other Gaijin projects and outsourcers.

So it’s not as if any of them are personally interested in this project. I think it’s pretty obvious.
They haven’t even been interested in the fact that BR3 SMGs have been in BR1 for a weeks. And many similar things has happened.

Btw. Next major update is more similar to what big QoL used to be.

And as for the people who interact with the community.

I have no idea about social media and other platforms, but on the eng forum - Euthy is the only helper that’s actively in touch with community. (Helper, not CMs)
Others are either in total shadows, not active on forum, or no longer active at all.

And I don’t think she’s biased in any way. Just ask politely. And there’s very high chance she’s gonna forward your suggestion to devs. As long as it is reasonable.

wtf? this was not maintenance mode? most of the complicated stuff that got implemented in last 2 years were cause of improvements to dagor engine and rest of the stuff i could probably implement solo in half a year to a year. if i had to guess whole dev team for last 2 years consists of 1 programmer, 1 3d modeller and 1 map maker. btw i have seen more updates from indie devs with 1-3 people than from enlisted devs in last 2 years.

And that’s just depressing if you realise how old this game actually is so anyone who’s defending it has either gone mad or delusional.

Oh well
I don’t play the game much anymore since it stopped being fun and just became a chore to play after the merge so I don’t really have anything to contribute on the forum anymore

Nah if they started to ban people for beeing to negativ then they would have to ban almost all of the forum veterans.
The forum has become kinda hostile towards their own devs due to the repeated constant fuck ups they produced.
Somehow the devs managed to turn everything they touched into a disappointing shitshow that needed further damage control by the helpers (since the CM is usually nowhere to be seen when that happens).

The devs cant even get something as simple as a minor weapon tweaking right and then needed weaks to resolve the mess they had created.

The fact that it took the devs literal years for simple balance changes and they gave consoles an immediate out of crossplay the day they gave them it since they cried so hard but five years of PC players asking to get away from console players is still incredible to me

Its not really a massive shadow to live in, I doubt the enlisted title could float the devs for many years to come.

But got to agree, if it was up to me I probably would have focused on enlisted rather than try to make a game on “niche” genre that already has quite well established game / playerbase.
