I recently made a forum post on the Vesely V-42 SMG, a potent option for a potential British BR 5 SMG. The Vesely V-43 would be a weapon with the same magazine capacity and rate of fire, but could be different stats and a different acquisition method (in a similar relationship as the M2 and M2A1 Carbines).
VESELY V-43 - FULLY UPGRADED STATS: Cartridge: 9x19mm Parabellum Damage: 6.8 (proposed) Rate of Fire: 1040 or 1150 (900 or 1000 base RoF) Magazine Capacity: 60 Attachments: Bayonet

Would you like to see the Vesely V-43 added to Enlisted?
I have a different idea, make this weapon a second option to be equipped for both the welgun and Vickers mg para squads. That or make it another premium assault squad.
If it comes as a TT gun, that’d be pretty nice, if it comes as a premium then I’d buy it for myself before buying it for a friend or two as well so they can have the same luxury lol
I do have a question regarding the br. Since the weapon’s mag reloads after firing 30 rounds, wouldn’t it be fit to be a br4 weapon too.
Also if it’s a premium then they should have the structure of the squad be 3 assaulters and 2 engineers like how the Early mg42 is set up.
Nvm, I misunderstood when reading about the tandem mag system at first, but I understand you can fire all 60 in the mag in one dump, so disregard that first question lol.
Yeah i needed to go back and reread how the mag feed mechanism worked, at first i though it worked the same way as the mag feed for the mp40/1 where you had to click to the other half after depleting one side except it’d work front and back. But now I understand it’s all one mag
In theory, the best British SMG with any connection to WWII should be the Patchett, with a Lanchester 50-round magazine. I think this thing could have done just fine in BR4 if the developer hadn’t decided the Patchett would be a lazy reskin of the Sten.
Either the V-42 or V-43 would make for a great option! Since the V-42 was the general design and the V-43 was intended for Paratroopers, I like the V-42 for the tech tree.
