Please allow me to reiterate my suggestion to the developers: buy a plane ticket to Harbin. You will gain everything you need to create a historically accurate map of Harbin, just like the Stalingrad and Berlin maps created for this game. I know the team may not have the time and resources to create a completely new map like before, but I still must say that your “Heilongjiang” map lacks historical rigor and seriousness. It is a crude product created by combining old materials with the fantasies of people with low levels of education in Europe and America about East Asia. These people praised the new map because of their ignorance and prejudice. They’re so arrogant that they lack proper historical and geographical education and are unwilling to even use a search engine to carefully examine what the historical Heilongjiang Province was really like. For them, even an African thatched hut with a French sign can be mistaken for Les Invalides in Paris. But your development team shouldn’t do that. At least two districts in Harbin Province were built by engineers and workers from the former Tsarist Russian Empire, in collaboration with people from Shandong and Hebei provinces in China, and were heavily influenced by Tsarist Russia—as well as the Baltic states. At least the red sausages that are famous in Harbin originated in Lithuania and Latvia. While it’s difficult to pinpoint exactly which buildings were designed by your ancestors, it’s hard to say for sure. Therefore, I urge the development team to face history squarely and at least respect the architectural tastes of your ancestors.
I don’t think the developers can’t use google pictures/visit the area if they wanted to recreate Manchuria.
The task probably was “create a new map with as much existing assets as possible”.
First uniform from the left looks like the coat of that one Premium Japanese squad. Developers ripped naval uniforms from Premium Moschetto rifle squad just for Italians to run in blue and turquoise clothes everywhere but couldnt develop cold weather Japanese uniforms with the use of something proper… How creative
(Devs, let me know if you have a big trouble with recoloring uniform textures, I could do everything in a day with photoshop if you cant)
All it would take is spending few hours on switching wood texture to stone and changing the material type when shot. Lack of creativity and attention to details is something I cant stand being a modder and graphic designer, they are either super lazy or dont have access to basic tools
well, this update is more or less good.
as it brought much needed features, such as:
-
italy being able to have their uniforms across all campaigns
( even though that’s not historical, but at this point, it was long gone anyway. )
and am looking for more of this with other units cosmetics, such as the paras of the US, tunics of the ussr with lower collar tabs, fallshirmjeagers helmets and smocks etc. -
winter british uniforms
-
fixed older cosmetics such as the germans coats that always had VS collar tabs instead of heer ones and improved the soviets sweaters to a much higher and nicer quality
-
ussr vs japan ( even though it’s only a single map at this time with different missions )
-
camouflages presets for campaigns with not many restrictions
which was my " fear " judging by some of the cosmetics. -
new vehicles camouflages
-
planetree camouflage reintroduction
( even though it took more than a year, and i now have a bunch of “fake” pea dots that … i kinda bought for being planetree. but eh ) -
more bow machineguns
even though it didn’t introduced jeeps with mgs,
i’d say it’s a 8 out of 10.
gets stale pretty quickly, but.
it has some significance.
what i don’t like though,
are the made up camouflages introduced with this update.
now to be fair, made up cosmetics pieces isn’t new.
like the white M41 of the americans, the lebermustern, and few others.
but like… where is this even supposed to blend?

and last but not least,
- no improvements or mentions for mods ( while breaking them with next to no help on what was changed… or why )
Posting feedback here too.
Feedback so far:
Like:
Loving new maps / FE campaign so far.
(Playing BR3/4 mainly both sides)
Both B25s , great addition to CAS, premium with 75mm well worth it!
New weapons in general, seem good
Dislike:
Skdz251 changes, skid all over, less ammo, I mean both feel really nerfed…
APC deployment, before I could put next to a building, cliff, now area changed on some maps nowhere to hide, just random parking.
Don’t understand:
Map preference, could we please get a skip faction at very least? So if I want to not play axis and fight japan as soviet’s for example?
Also Camo option is great, but no basic camo option for some campaigns ie winter event T70, cannot use basic for Berlin, I guess have to spend more gold to buy other camos…
Excellent update overall and payday will mean getting PPSh S squad too!
If Santa still wondering, my Stuka Canonvogel is on my wish list ![]()

Yes, you’re right. The first uniform on the left has already appeared in the game. My photos mainly show the uniforms of the Kwantung Army in Northeast China (mostly very thick to adapt to cold weather), but the fourth uniform from the left and the ones following it are Japanese spring and autumn uniforms, which could be used to design new uniforms for the Japanese army in the Far East campaign in the game.
Oh, I almost forgot, there’s another issue. In the game, the Neo-Soviet partisan squad speaks Southwestern Mandarin. However, the soldiers of the 8th International Infantry Brigade of the Far East aren’t from Sichuan; they’re from Northeast China—this is mentioned in the squad’s description, so the developers were aware of it. So why do they speak Sichuanese in the game instead of a Northeastern dialect? Did the developers not create a Northeastern dialect voice pack?
Are you really surprised that they did not?
Well, that voice they have is actually the second one which Chinese got, as it had to fix problems with the first voice set.
Its very unlikely that such nuances will be taken into consideration even as for example we dont have Australian voice acting even though its much different than standard British and there many squads of them in game already
I initially didn’t think the development team would provide detailed dialect voice packs for the Chinese squads, but they did. A few months ago, they changed the voices of two existing Chinese squads from Mandarin to Sichuan dialect, which is commendable considering the main members of those squads are indeed from Sichuan. However, if the developers intended to use dialects to enhance realism, why not have the new Chinese squads speak Northeastern dialect? Since they’re going to add dialect voice packs, why not do it better? My thought is that they should either release new Chinese voice packs based on dialect regions, or all squads should speak Mandarin.
All the buildings and hangers are copy and pasted from other campaigns. Lazy map design.
I totally believe that this credit should be given to the separated Chinese server. They even provided Chinese voice-overs for Soviet female medics.
I already mentioned it, yes the Chinese squads got a new set of voice acting so that things would be more accurate
Because its costly, I wish we could get more than what we currently have for every nationality available. Romanians and Hungarians still aren’t represented in the game besides some guns and vehicles for example.
So making an entire new set of voice lines just for one single squad isn’t something I believe they will do knowing them, all depends if they will find the move financially beneficial
Some people seem to balantly and completely disregard what @SnowieW clearly explained about the map and any possible new assets (as they are limited by previous generation console compatibility):
None of the maps we have are 100% accurate (nor aim they to be). Get over it and just be thankful they added a Gajin version of Manchuria and Japan vs Soviets.

Was it me accidentally playing on a separated client / wrongly understanding this update, or is it actually that nobody cares about it?
Edit:

I forgot to mention the ironic fact: this “Armored” skin technically reduced its armor.
Will be fixed
I personally am not opposing the explanation as issues like device hardware limitations and console compatibility are reasonable for me, although mentioning “limitations”, and considering the fact that buildings in Enlisted have complete interior decoration (…and buildings in BF are totally roughcast houses); and the many of the complained point is “do not add this”, it is already more or less a contradictory statement.
Words like “accurate”, “authenticity”, etc. are the taboo/cursed/ill-omened words of Enlisted. What an ironic tragicomedy combining the still-kept impression/image of “nor aim they to be” (sincerely no offense, see below) and the developers’ proud claim less than a month ago:
Or even more further back:
Really devs?
/////
Well my mood was pissed off by this sentence. Has anyone ever conducted a survey, on which campaign had the most open-roofed, outdoor objective points, Tunisia or Berlin?
/////
Edit: So I made a closer look (with more pics) towards the Harbin map in another post, and I can’t believe how dare words like “inspire”, “1:1” could be mentioned.
Honestly could not be more wrong, Berlin and Stalingrad are literally my favourite maps, I love the chaos of fighting in the ruins, but yeah outdoor objectively… objectively suck badum tiss.
Bad puns aside, urban maps are fantastic fun, but you know what would be even more fun, a fucking working map selection feature so people can just pick and choose which maps they play.
Will dev repair the event and premium german’s Apc ?
Ok, engine was needing more power.
But now, my apc is always drifting ! On all grounds ! Not only on snow / offroad.
It’s like I’m driving a breakless APC on ice after driking 5 bottles of Schnaps.
Enlisted isn’t a " fixie breakless simulator for messengers in NY".
