If the T-34-57 is similar to the pz4H, trading firepower for less weakspots, (both br3), then su85 is the ewuivalent of the stug g, without trading the firepower for armor.

Only reason marder is at BR2 is the KV and shermans.
I dont think the SU BR3 is facing even remotely same situation as GE BR2 vs SU BR3.
And, if the KV’s werent downtiered due to idiotic “Iconic” reason, marder wouldnt ever needed in BR2.

Well, eventually you will learn both can be taken out frontally.
Much like J1 can take on KV1 frontally.

Alright, so both basic tanks can take on the other basic tanks with difficulty, but there are TDs for each BR aswell. Boom, there you go.

I’m sure that in the future devs will find some prototype for BR3 germany to get. This is still a developing game. Each nations will have sniper tanks like the panzer 4 and brawling tanks like the t34
And im pretty sure the list of tanks that can be taken out with simple AT rifle isnt very long.
Considering it is the worst AT weapon of the game.
It is quite self-explanatory if a tank can be taken out by any range from any angle with AT rifle that nothing else struggles with it.
Thats how bad the armor is.
Again, highlights the absolutely non-existent armor rather well if BR1 AT weapon can take it out easily.
