Tank mounted mg34

During ww2 the mg34 stayed in service even after the introduction of the mg42 in tanks and other vehicles and therefore there are variants of the mg34 specialised for tanks.

I would like to suggest adding the one that is not crossed out in this image.

The stats would be identical to the standard mg34 except the mag size:

Rpm: 800
Damage: 12
Reload: 5.7
Mag size: 100 rounds (from a belt)

Like other stockless mgs it won’t be able to fire unless layed down.

What br should it be (keep in mind it has 100 rounds)
  • Br3
  • Br4

Should it be added

I think we should get the standard MG34 with a belt before any other variants

It would be interesting to have it in the battle pass, and a standard version like the TT’s, but with the 100-round belt at BR4.

I highly doubt that a 100 round version is worth the drawback when the mg 34 pt exists with 75 rounds on the same BR.
Also having the butstock missing would most likely mean worse stats so it wouldnt even be desireable for that.

If its recoil is more controllable than the standard when emplacing it, I’m not complaining, to be honest. The Browning .303 has performed very well for me. If the MG34 (100) is even more controllable since it has lower ROF, I would definitely go for it.

I think the MG-34 with 100 rounds would fit better as a BR5 weapon without the stupid proning mechanic.

It just doesn’t have a stock, I dont get your reasoning, why talk about a tank MG34 version when you want to add a infantry MG34?

Not that I am against this, but gameplay wise it wouldn’t be that different to current BR4 MG34 with the 75 round drums.
Instead of a 75 drum that reloads compared to loose belt MGs quickly, you’d have 100 rounds.
25 rounds more with a bit of a drawback really isnt worth adding to the already full German TT.

I guess as an event weapon I would use it sometimes, or maybe its nice for people who dont like the rate of fire of BR5 100 round MG42, but other than that I think its totally fine to have two MG34 versions.

Looks good like all German guns be fine as is or br5 without any prone. I wonder if any German mg were scoped

In fact, I remember seeing an MG34 with a sniper-type sight a while ago, and it wasn’t mounted on a tripod if I remember correctly.

There’s no reason we can’t have a 100 round mg34 as well, I never specified how I want to see this gun added. I’d be happy if this gun was a event or BP weapon.

prone-only guns are an awful gimmick I wish the developers would stop exploring

I holding out hope that they’ll let us hipfire them.

It would be interesting if it were like that video of the mercenaries in the Congo in 1964, I think they were firing Brownings like that. Besides that, in the case of this MG34, it wouldn’t be impossible since it has a pistol grip like the standard MGs. If they ever introduce an infantry version of the MG81Z, for example, that one would be unusable if it wasn’t mounted.

An absolutely no on this. what where you thinking? It’s an MG without stock and without bipod, how is that to be used you were thinking?

Add MG34 with Belt, done.

the prone only feature is awesome and adds to the interesting mechanics of the game. brings realism to the game.
It should be extended to other MGs and AT Rifles.

All so we can get more realism and less of Fortnite in the Game

Why would you want to turn this game into a clone of Hell Let Loose or Squad 44. There’s an assload of realistic WW2 games out there

I want Enlisted with more realism. HLL is on another lvl above that, that’s not what we going for.
This game more realism, with better matchmaking to get better historical immersion.
HLL is milsim FPS this is Squad based FPS, different games completely in style.
The realism should be as good as possible in both games though, meaning like features we have in-game, like in this case certain large cumbersome guns needing to be prone or bipod to fire, which is realism, be expanded on. Game more seriou, looks better, better immerson and realism, less shit arcadadey fortnite slop trash game

but from what I’ve seen you about, u seem like the typical Fortnite lvl of acrade shit gameplay that I’d like too see Enlisted stay the fck away from. So I expect you to not get me or what I’m about.
Enlisted is a Historical Shooter with some lvl of realism and tactical game aspects too it, realism and features.
You want another type of shit gameplay that this game is not about.
You should probably play Fortnite

The game itself has already reached a strange mix of realism and “what if” scenarios with so many prototypes. The most realistic aspects in terms of equipment and era have been the Market Garden special event and the maps in lower BRs. For some time now, some have been asking for a realistic historical mode for that very reason.
