The Suomi is a Iconic Finnish gun during ww2 and many nations used and operated or some produced their own, but over at Finland they needed to make smaller magazines for their gun because, carrying a bunch of coffin and or drum mags are quite heavy, what if they converted the MP-40/38 magazines for the Suomi to get around this issue?

I could see it as any of those things. I don’t really care.
But I find it completely bizarre that you included BR2 as a possible option in the second poll.

I’m voting tech tree, because I’d really like to see the KP-31 with other magazine options in there.
Still, this is a magazine conversion, and would not rerpesent a common occurance, and thus it might not naturally belong in the tech tree.
But, the only other “low” capacity magazine alternatives I see are 20-round box mags (more BR II worthy), 36-round Swedish box mags (not used by the Finns or the Germans during WW2, AFAIK, and also adopted very very late in the war), or 40-round drum mags (more BR IV worthy).
Make of that what you will… it’s a conundrum.
If I ask name a Finnish gun from ww2 most would say the Suomi than the M29 rifle

I’d say TT instead of event, because it would finally be the perfect counter to ppsh41(box), so nobody could ever complain anymore.
Moreover, there’s already mp41 as event weapon, so…
