An Advantage? The post is to remove an advantage from a faction, yes. But it isn’t the Germans. The SVT-38 and SVT-40 can not exist at different BRs if they’re identical in stats, which they are.
If that’s your argument we should remove all german items from other TTs. No more captured stuff for anyone. No Panzerfausts for Soviets, no Offenrohrs for anyone but the Germans, remove the premium guerilla squads from the shop, kick out french weapons from the german TT. Good? Obviously it must be.
Ah, yes. The best LMG in the game as an example. Whoever could have that? Maybe it’s the Soviets.

damn the mental gymnastics wehrmacht players come up with to justify another GERMANIA SAFFERS moment, really, instead of arguing with you it’d be appropriate to dismiss it as just another severe case of german players inability to comprehend not being better than any other faction in every single area, no arguments for it besides “other guns do that so this one should too” and strawmanning, not like i expected anything else from someone who complains about an svt38 of all things.
Svt 38 is a direct equivalent of g41, it’s just better because soviets had better semi autos, they’re the same br because they’re matched against one another, the same way 1939 t34 is matched against late 1942 pz4f2 how hard is that to understand?
Or the average german player brain is too rotten after spamming mg13 with drum on br3

Honestly I’m all for it. It’s a good way to finally distinguish SVT-38 from SVT-40, making the latter finally somewhat desirable for those moving up the USSR research tree.

no one wants to move up to 4 because it’s getting bonked on by br5 all the time, not because 2 guns are identical
thats the point. why move SVT-38 to BR 4 when theres an SVT 40…Why move a G-43 to BR 3 when it would make G-41 Irrelevant.
Not to mention a great deal of us want BR ±0 or at the very least BR 5 to be by itself.
This way preserves BR progression and uniqueness.
The Truth is, G-43, SVT-40, Garand, M1 Carbine should have been the Endgame Infantry (Riflemen) weapon…not these bullshit selectfires

br3-4 difference is almost negligible, br4-5 difference is like sky and earth, br4 always gets uptiered to 5, but a lot of ppl bring pz2s or 3s/hydroplanes to 5, locking a slot, those brs are dogshit anyways
Maybe in general, but the SVT-38 was dogshit. It was horrible. The mags consantly fell out, it was too heavy, too weak for the calibre it shoots, it was inaccurate as all hell and the gas port decided to just die most of the time. That is not a good gun. There’s a reason the soviets adopted the SVT-40 so quickly.

Your entire argument is that soviets guns are so awesome which is why they should be OP. But the gun was utter dogshit. The game just doesn’t show that, nor does it do that for any other weapon used in the war. There MUST be a difference between BR3 and BR4 weapons, if only because BR3 faces BR2 and BR4 doesn’t. Bringing a Kiraly to BR2 would be equally as unfair as bringing the current SVT-38 because it doesn’t belong in BR3 and should never be facing BR2.

1 spare mag and other using clips.
small ammo bags increase 1 mag, large ones increase 2 mags.

dunno, the unique strenght is fun and games when it supports your faction.
AVT just had to get same 20 round mag as FG
Mkb42 just had to get fedorov as counter
Mp43/STG44 just had to get AK47 as counter
Soviets just had to get pzfausts.
I can only name KT2 that is significantly better due to fast reload than USSR counter part.
And ofc, the LMG’s of Br1-4 regardless no one uses them.
Other than those the soviets has better.

More than evenly matched? What kind of drugs are you taking when playing the game? The SVT-38 is a BR4 gun fighting BR2/BR3 Guns. Should the MG34 Patronentrommel be on BR3? No because it’s not balanced for that, and neither is the SVT-38. Also the Americans had the better semi auto rifles during the war, and more importantly they had enough resources and industrial capacity to produce enough magazines to outfit their army with magazines instead of stripper clips.
Oh poor germania, those avts are really giving you a hard time after several years of fg domination, how could any faction not be weaker in every single aspect than my glorious reich, how germania has fallen, and those panzerfausts, terrible, terrible panzerfausts everyone else has to face the same way in worse tanks.

I cant really remember a single time when FG was better than AVT.
When AVT had less rounds, FG was by default semi-auto and had by far inferior dispersion and other stats.
Also the FG was 2hit kill vs bodyarmor and AVT was 1hk.
FG was actually rather recently buffed and its still inferior, regardless how little it is.
Dunno, perhaps because this game has always been full stalinium bias.
Which is why people keep mentioning situations like this.
It takes quite alot mental gymnastics to pretend soviets are the victim in the game regarding equipment.

Where did i pretend that? If anything, you are pretending that germania saffers because svt38 can be reloaded with magazines like it did IRL

Every tiny thing GE had better soviets got slightly better or equal.
So as you wish, lets make it red vs blue. Stripper clip reload for svt just like rest have.
