Should the Mannlicher 1895 sniper be added to the German TT?
The Mannlicher M1895 had scoped versions in real life with units made from a mix of M1895 rifles and carbines during WW1 in decent numbers, and it could serve as a fun new sniper rifle for BR2. Either the full length or carbine version (which is the one we have in game) could be added, and I think this could be cool to see. I recommend watching the attached video for more in depth information about the gun if you want to know more in depth information.

Because it would be funcionally identical to the normal Mannlicher. I guess you’re comparing it to the SMLE sniper, but that one reloads it’s entire magazine instead of with clips, and it has double the ammunition of this gun, so I think BR2 would be fine.

My bad, forgot the normal Mannlicher was BR2. Makes sense now I guess.

With the hopeful future addition of this sniper rifle I’d be one step closer to creating my Austrian-raised Gebirgsjäger company.
I know, equiping everyone with Austrian rifles was just not something that happened with Gebirgsjägers, but I still want to it just because of the theme.
